These people are complete idiots. To hell with all of them.

Answer to the question no one asked - "Could I please have an updated AMC Eagle?" But I'm sure it walks on water, Bangle is probably a virgin (hence the virgin-birth) and posers will fall all over themselves to buy one. "Look! I can carry two kids and half a stroller! But it has a propeller on the hood."
And if one more PR German asshole calls a 4-door a "coupe" here in the US, I'm taking hostages.
Here in the USA, a Saloon is a bar and a f@#king coupe is a TWO-DOOR.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Um...why kill the Magnum? Are they crazy? If anything needs to go its the Aspen, Compass. The Patriot fills the spot better. The Commander can stay. Good idea, bad styling and marketing. The current Dakota looks like a wet dream design compared to the refresh, but I would keep it. To tell you the truth, I would return the Durango to the 1st gen. size and keep the HEMI. The damn thing is too big to have such little interior room.
-
Please tell me that they are joking with a) the name and b) that interior.
-
I love the quattroporte.
As do I. I'd love to buy one but I don't know if it has enough room. This is good news and cannot wait for Chrysler to post news like this.

I'd hate to see VW leave. I love'em especially when they have the rack on the roof. In fact I think they're possibly the only vehicles on the road that look good with a rack on top. I must agree with BV, the Mk IV Jetta is possibly the best designed Jetta ever! The new Golf/Rabbit looks great IMO. Anyway, I hope they straighten this out and fast.

Silly Japanese...

Simple. Nissan has the Xterra and Murano and Pathfinder. Toyota has the Highlander and 4 runner, Ford has the Taurus X, Explorer, Edge, and Flex <coming soon>, Chrysler has the Duragno/Asspen and Pacifca.
If anything, this is GM catching up to the rest of 'em.
But isn't the Durango/Aspen and Pacifica soon to be discontinued?

Oh wait... it's a Toyota? OMGILUVSIT! TOYTOA FTW!
The only aspect of the car that I like so far is the rear. The front looks funny to me and doesn't look that impressive, but I'll wait till the unveiling to make judgement.
-
The spy pics look interesting. I like the Charger's front fascia and it seems that it'll translate pretty well on the Ram. Too bad they're getting away from the big rig look. I can't wait to see the new design.
-
Which brings up the other reason I don't like the Pentastar. All of the cars were lumped under a single identity because Chrysler Co. didn't feel the need to give each brand its own image. In the pictures you posted, I can barely tell which car is a Chrysler, which car is a Dodge, and which car is a Plymouth.
If they want to bring it back, fine. But at most, the logo should be stamped on the fenders of the corporate vehicles. I'm not really a fan of that idea, either, but some companies *cough* like to do it, I guess.
Yea they should use it ONLY as a CORPORATE LOGO. Let the brands keep their identity. I couldn't imagine a Ram with a pentastar plastered on the front of the grille...

Why is everyone (or nearly everyone) bitching about this car? So what if its HUGE, its a CONCEPT. The car is fine the way it is as a CONCEPT. For production however the rear needs to be revised and the dimensions need to be shrunken down to size just a little bit ie, front end and height (mayb an 1 or 2). Other than that I pretty much like the car. Can't wait to see it in another color besides this brown.
-
I actually like the Nitro and Liberty designs, minus the fender vent. I just wish, like many other current Chrysler designs, that it had more head room for me.
-
I WANT ALL THREE!! These are awesome. Will we get them?
-
Aw I wanna hold it. I like it. It has a cute but confident appearance kinda like the superhero's sidekick.
-
I don't know. It seems the more I look at it, the better it looks and the more I'd want one. I'd have to see it with smaller wheels though then maybe it'll be less truck like.
-
Has anyone else noticed that the character line is the same one from the ME412?
-
I'll take one with this hood ornament:
They only need to work on the back end.
Wow the car is bigger than I thought. Or it might just be her that makes it look bigger lol. I agree, the rear is horrific. Keep the horizontal tail lamps but don't "boat tail" the trunk. The grille can be tweeked and the rear quarter panels can withstand a lil bit of change. I like it although it does seem trucky. Other than that build it.

And, I don’t see why everybody is saying this, but Viper and ‘Vette could easily co-exist because they could easily be marketed to different customers, as they currently are for the most part.
You hit the nail on the head.
-
If you want the brand to find success, Dodge cannot stay untouched.
Well I meant virtually untouched. Keep the Ram, Dakota, Viper, Charger/Magnum, Caliber; possibly axe the Durango and intro another sedan, make the Avenger more competetive, give the whole lineup new interiors and viola.
PS: Does anyone think this would be happening if Chrysler's "Bible" wasn't tossed out?
-
And the best part? Chrysler doesn't go to the Chinese, Toyota, Nissan, or anyone else but back to America where it belongs.
Yes that would be a plus as long as Chrysler stays (mostly) INTACT! and Dodge is untouched.
-
Either way, there's no way the Viper is sticking around if GM buys Dodge, and I see little chance it's going to stick around if they don't.
The Viper, as everyone knows, is a halo car. I doubt anyone would kill their halo car (besides Ford).
-
Why can't Chrysler be run exactly like it was under DaimlerChrysler (where Benz and Chrysler were like too seperate companies)? I mean why can't GM just take control of Chrysler, improve interior quality and designs and sell them exactly how they are now?
That makes too much sense for that too be done
-
Sure you can. Most of the sales would just go to the Z06 anyways.
Do you really think that Viper loyalists would really settle for a Vette? I wouldn't. It's all about exclusivity. Something you don't get with a Vette.
New Buick to be called LaCrosse, has been butchered.

The car still looks good. I just believe that its a picture of a base model.
