  7. Hyundai teased an image of its『45』Concept today ahead of the Frankfort International Motor Show. The car will be a fully electric vehicle and will be a symbolic milestone for Hyundai's future EV design. The concept looks back to the brand's first model in the 1970s for inspiration and is visibly angular. The new design language is an evolution of Hyundai's "Sensuous Sportiness" design. ‘Sensuous’ stands for enhanced emotional values that customers can experience through design, and ‘Sportiness’ is determined to implement those values through innovative mobility solutions. So we were a bit surprised that at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Porsche unveiled the high-performance Cayenne Turbo. Under the hood is the same engine you'll find in the Panamera Turbo; a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 offering up 550 horsepower and 567 pound-feet of torque. This comes paired with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. Porsche quotes a 0-60 mph time of 3.9 seconds (3.7 seconds if you add the Sport Chrono package). Top speed stands at 177 mph.

  13. BMW's i lineup covers the extreme ends of the spectrum with the compact i3 and sporty i8. But a new concept shows BMW's i lineup could be getting something in the middle. This is the BMW i Vision Dynamics which many believe previews the rumored i5 sedan. Visually, the Vision Dynamics looks like a futuristic version of the 4-Series Gran Coupe with a sloping roofline and small greenhouse. The front end has a 'unique' take on the twin kidney grille. BMW says it acts as an "intelligence surface," most likely hinting there are sensors being used for various systems such as self-driving. With a

They're hoping to add capable vehicles to that list with the debut of the Land Rover Discovery SVX. SVX will be reserved for models that can go anywhere and this Discovery fits the bill. The chassis boasts a lifted air suspension with long-travel dampers and new knuckles; Hydraulic Active Roll Control that provides better wheel articulation, and a set of 20-inch forged-aluminum wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler off-road tires. You end up with the R8 V10 RWS (Rear Wheel Series) that debuted tonight in Frankfurt. “A limited-edition special model for customers with an appreciation for essential driving enjoyment, the R8 V10 RWS is an absolutely exclusive offer. With its mid-mounted V10 engine and rear-wheel drive, it successfully brings the driving concept of our R8 LMS racing car to the streets,” said Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Audi Sport GmbH in a statement. Automotive News Europe has learned of nine automakers that will be skipping the show. They include, Alfa Romeo DS Fiat Infiniti Jeep Mitsubishi Nissan Peugeot Volvo The nine automakers combined make up 20 percent of all automotive sales in Europe. So why are they skipping? One issue is the cost as automakers have to spend a fair amount of cash to take part. Ian Fletcher, prin

But Kia explains the name comes from combining "‘Speedy’ and ‘Tonic’, which refers to the first and last note in the musical scale." Let's move on to the crossover itself. It is clear that Kia is pulling from the Nissan Juke and Toyota C-HR design playbook as the Stonic. The concept sketches show a low roofline, angled headlights, and a tailgate design from the Sportage. The interior is mostly the same as the upcoming Rio subcompac

The concept boasts an 800 Volt electrical system with two permanent magnet synchronous motors - similar motors to the ones used in the 919 Hybrid LMP1 racecar. The powertrain produces around 600 horsepower and gives the Mission E performance figures of 0-60 MPH around 3.5 seconds and hitting 124 MPH in 12.5 seconds. Overall range is estimated at 310 Miles. Now this is more range than the comparable Tesla P85D which offers 305 Miles. But with the P90D jus

The Bentayga is the result of Bentley going back to the drawing board and revising the EXP 9F concept that got a lukewarm reception at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The SUV bears a number of design cues seen on Bentley's current lineup such as as four round LED headlamps, mesh grille insert, and crease along the hood. The side profile boasts muscular haunches and a bold character line. One of the interesting
