With the hood open, the top-mounted intercooler is clearly visible sitting above the engine cover, which carries the Subaru logo and "DIT" lettering identifying the direct-injection turbocharged boxer. The battery occupies the right side of the bay alongside fluid reservoirs, in a reasonably well-organized layout for a turbocharged crossover.
