  1. OUCH, Ford recalling 312,000 trucks due to brake assist failures. Ford to recall over 312,000 US vehicles over loss of power brake assist, NHTSA says 93 recalls and growing, makes one want to think twice about buying any ford / Lincoln product. Elon Musk Amplifies Bizarre Claim That 'Women Are Built To Be Traded' Jobs report is not good and with Stellantis taking offline numerous plants due to excessive inventory, I suspect the next few months will see even bigger job losses. 2. Very cool sneak peek at the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV. Per their sneak peek press release: More details will be revealed in a few months. For now, we can give you a quick preview of what’s to come. There will be updates to the front fascia and rear tail lamps, a NACS charging adapter port, and some other cool stuff that…we’ll show you later. 5. That is one big suck hole on the front end to feed the motor.
  6. Still an interesting segment that I feel has plenty of growth possible and clearly there is interest in affordable small autos.
  7. With all the craziness currently in failed leadership, I wonder if GM will really do hybrids or if they will just wait it out with what they have in V8, Turbo 4's and EVs. Interesting times for sure. Always felt GM failed to optimize doing Hybrid when they brought out Volt 2.0, they should have then also introduced an Equinox / Terrain Hybrid then imho.
  8. Is this the woman who recruited kids for Epstein and Trump? Seems they want to pardon her and get her out of Jail, makes me think she will then end up in a mystery death. Very Homely
  9. Would seem Texas is seeing a ton of them as they fight along with other southern states to ban the Kei trucks and vans from being imported due to their cheap price. Due to the import price being from $6,000 to $14,000 dollars, this is why they are becoming so popular here. Buying a Kei Truck: A Step-by-Step Guide for First-Time Owners - Auto Verve This truck is local to me and I see it driven daily by the owner. According to government records, 7,594 trucks alone were imported into the US last year. Yes that is small compared to the 750,000 plus F150 trucks Ford sold last year. Yay for Kei? Owners of the Tiny Imports Cheering in Massachusetts - Hagerty Media Good info on the various Kei trucks and vans. Kei Trucks: Are They Here to Stay? » JDMBUYSELL Even the 4x4 offroad versions are pretty cool and usable.
  10. I actually see a ton of Kei Trucks, Vans and Skylines driving around here on a daily basis but that also is probably due to being so much closer to the asian rim and having a very active asian auto culture here.
  11. I figured as much but also wanted to point out that it is worse than what we had before and clearly will increase costs for Americans, not decrease anything. People who imported Skylines, KEI trucks and Vans, etc. are going to see much higher costs to get parts out of Japan now and in many cases, we will see reduced auto variety here due to the tariffs imho.
  12. Japan and Korea have clearly stated that all Auto's EV, Hybrid, and ICE will now be shipped direct to Canada rather than into the US and trucked up north. As such, Canada is having a boom in port building to handle the increase in direct shipments to Canada. Another loss for the US and as such, Canada will get additional EVs from Kia and Ioniq's from Hyundai that we will now not get or have built here. Total destruction of America by Idiot47 who is clueless about business, growth, jobs, etc. It is too late to pull out of the Global Economy and go back to the 1950's and 60's that he calls the golden years and will redo again here in the US. We have and always will be great, but sadly we are on decline as a country with the embarrassment of the current administration and their lack of understanding business due to lemmings running things rather than people with intelligence. Yes, the incompetence of Idiot47 and his lemmings thinks 15% tariff is better than the original 10% tariff. True Morons that have no clue about business or trade deals. This makes it even worse as during the current time to allow for deals, the Tariff was 10%, but now the real facts come out as we know see that the average tariff on items from Japan was between 2 to 3 %. 13. Polestar has some great EVs, Sadly, the lack of being able to see the future due to stuck in the past by the Boomer idiots is going to cost the USA in a big way. This does not bode well for America as 173 farmers have declared bankruptcy this year, 63% increase over last year and a loss to the financial sector of over 563 Billion dollars and Idiot47 could care less. 16. Right now many companies are eating the tariff which is just stupid, they need to accept this tax and pass it on showing that Idiot47 is the moron and the other countries are NOT the ones paying this tax. This on the car?
  17. Idiot47 is bragging about his Japan Trade Deal and yet we go from 10% tariffs to 15% tariffs as Japan avoids the 25% tariff Idiot47 threatened and yet his win is an increase in taxation against Americans having to pay more for the Auto's they will export to the US. https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/22/business/japan-trade-agreement-us https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/trump-japan-trade-deal-1.7591682 Reaction to US trade deal with Japan | Reuters So we get Japan made auto's with 15% tariffs and our own auto companies have to pay 25% for parts / autos from Canada and Mexico and us Americans have to pay 15% tariff on anything from Japan versus the original 10% that was in place. Plus Idiot47 says Japan will open up their market to our US autos. Hello McFly, thay already had it open to us, but our auto's are too big for the roads in Japan and especially the cities. There is a reason they have Micro Trucks and cars. Japan needs Kei Trucks, not 1 ton dually American Trucks.
  18. Before idiot47 has screwed up everything and the GOP rats gave 3.5 trillion to the 1% class sadling us normal folks with more debt, at least my state of Washington was able to get the money owed under the IRA for building out fast charging stations every 50 miles along our major freeway systems. 20. This GMC Style is very uninspiring to me. I think GMC could have done better.
  21. Windows 11 has pro's and Con's but then what version of windows did not. Overall, I have NOT seen any possessive or restrictive issues with what you can do with Windows 11. Now one thing to be aware is that 11 does have more hardware requirements, so it is possible that if you try to update your current Win10 setup, it could come back and say I cannot until you get a compatible CPU or Graphics card, etc. I would double check your system against the requirements, does not make any sense to spend hours attempting to upgrade if your system will not truly support it. Windows 11 Specs and System Requirements | Microsoft Windows I have a Maxed out with SSD drives Lenovo Laptop that is fast and rocks but does not pass the hardware check so it cannot upgrade to Win11, so it will stay at Win10 since it works just fine. Ignore the threats about everything as it is Microsoft's attempt to get you to spend money on hardware and new Win11 when you really do not have too.

  23. I cannot find the info at this time, but there was statements from Ford about following GM in moving to Android Auto based system with not allowing AA/CP to be usable. (20) All Carmakers Might Eventually Try to Kill Off Android Auto and CarPlay - autoevolution Reddit had plenty of places people discussed this and questioned it. But then as folks started to backlash against GM, Ford changed their Tune and the CEO said they would keep it for all their auto's moving forward. Now Ford says it's keeping Android Auto and CarPlay due to safety Ford CEO Commits To Keeping Apple CarPlay And Android Auto, Says It Keeps Drivers Focused (Update) Ford CEO Says Apple CarPlay And Android Auto Staying In Cars Found the Original Google/Ford announcement that they would incorporate using the Android Auto system and why they do not say they will not support AA/CP, they also do not state that they will, but like GM implied a better end user experience. Ford and Google to Accelerate Auto Innovation I think this is what started to scare folks that Ford was going to follow GM. I know they said they were exploring and looking to secure their customers data within Ford rather than out to Google.
  24. This is so true and just not on auto's, the number of parts and other product piling up at ports due to people / companies not wanting to pay tariffs is crazy. Seattle/Tacoma/Everett Ports has a ton of product sitting in container's that companies are not willing to pay tariffs on so now it is just sitting there. Small businesses are being hurt and forced to close due to the Tariffs. My sister's appliance company is hurting as they usually have credit, but the company that imports the parts for appliance repairs went to a cash up front from all purchase and have stated they have to pay up front from the companies in China so no more credit, pay at the end of the month, now it is pay as you go. So they are having customers pay up front. The shop I have used, has also told me that the cost of parts is changing almost daily and they have to pay in advance for auto parts. Consumers are going to be hurting big time. We are not making America Great Again, America is being destroyed Again just like in the 1930's due to ignorant people in power.
