Why consider Toyota when you have other better options imho. I honestly do not remember if you bought a certified car, aka lease turn in or new, but there are these options: Kia - K4 or EV4 Hyundai - Elantra N or Ioniq 6 N Genesis - G70, G80, G90 or their electric version

Yes, at this time it is what I noticed also. -
Due to the lose of Canadian Tourism, many restaurants have closed and many tourist businesses have stated on local news that this year could be their last as owners have paid employees but not themselves and they will have to think about going in debt to stay open next year or close at the end of the season. I suspect many businesses will close as the PNW is already in recession due to tech job lay offs.

GMC News: 2026 GMC Acadia Denali Ultimate, A GMC First

I have done that in so many ways in feedback that they have requested even earlier this year wanted to know what it would take to get me to trade in my Escalade for a new one and if I would consider the Escalade IQ. I gave them details on why I would not buy from them unless they did a number of things. Gatekeeping of apps in Google playstore is a major problem for me. No Android Auto / Apple Carplay is another problem. Their decisions for me on what I can and cannot do with my auto I buy from them is a Major problem for me. Go check out the Honda Prologue. Here Honda used the GM Ultium Platform, keeps AA/CP and has a far superior interface with the full Google Store. Better yet, go check out any Kia, Hyundai, Genesis EV and you will see a better way to implement the interface and cell phone compatibility over what GM is doing. Right now, Unless GM does 180 degree change, their poor software implementation and decisions on what you can and cannot do with your auto will keep me from ever buying GM again. -
True, if the Odometer has not been played with, but you still have a 1996 tech auto in 2025. 30 years later, hard pass.

Only thing that will kill the EV is what the Germans have announced with a stupid monthly subscription to unlock the full EV potential of HP and other features. VW Sells You Less Horsepower Then Charges A Fee To Give It Back Total BS if they go this way. Not a fan of subscription fees for using the auto you bought. -
While I always loved the Crown cars of Japan, it is crazy to see them here at the prices they are asking. 1996 Toyota Crown for sale near Cadillac, Michigan 49601 - 101849404 - Classics on Autotrader

The original Osaka Japan airport had all those problems and then some, so a major engineering project with an artificial island and now Osaka has a modern thriving airport. QUOTE: Osaka's Kansai International Airport was built on an artificial island in Osaka Bay to relieve overcrowding at the original Itami Airport. Construction began in 1987 and the airport opened in 1994. The project was a major engineering feat, requiring the creation of an island using soil dredged from Osaka Bay and quarried from nearby mountains. The airport is designed to operate 24 hours a day and serves as a major international hub, handling millions of passengers annually. Despite initial challenges, such as subsidence, the airport has continued to thrive as a significant aviation center in Japan. The History Behind Osaka Kansai International Airport

The 3 major airports in NY are all terrible and should be bull dozed, then rebuild modern. The remodels are a joke that they have done, especially at Newark.

My Coworkers who are in Cork Ireland used to look forward to coming to the tradeshow we have every year in Vegas and then vacationing in the U.S. This year, they had to force people to come to work the tradeshow in May and none of the Ireland team took vacations in the U.S. Many went to Spain, Portugal and other European or Asian destinations. Sucks to be in the tourism industry right now as I do not see it getting any better, only worse over the next few years.

Loved that James Bond movie! I have friends that live in Galveston and while I enjoyed in the past visiting them. The current situation based on hearing from other coworkers who live in the area is the aggressive hate towards all that is not white and with a Korean Wife, I would probably end in jail as I would not tolerate the southern hate that is currently going on. As such, I will stay in my Multi-Cultural PNW. It is sad that Idiot47 have created so much hate and separation of the U.S. in comparison to a person who is to pull the country together. He clearly is working for select groups and special interests starting with himself. Sadly, I think our Auto industry, Especially GM is done having any Global influence and will now be limited to the U.S. as I notice the free trade agreements that Asia is doing with Canada and Mexico and allowing China in that is bringing in much cheaper auto's, the Detroit Truck Market will become U.S. only IMHO. I myself do not see buying a Detroit auto anymore, I suspect my next auto will be a Kia EV9 Pickup truck or Genesis GV90 SUV.

WOW, this is an interesting concept that I could see making it to production. Weird that they follow GM with the power port just in front of the drivers door, would rather have it in one of the rear corners. Acura RSX Prototype In Person: The Future is Still Electric - Autoblog

Sadly, people are very ignorant about the destruction that Oil / Natural Gas does to the land on top of what has to be done to make steel as well as other raw materials. Your right we have lost some intelligent people that have fought tooth and nail to not change as they wanted things to stay the same and yet the rest of the world has moved on. Stellantis is pretty much dead here in the U.S. except for those that are stuck in the past still willing to buy their terrible products. Ford and GM MIGHT, I say it based on how fast the U.S. changed into the needed power for WWII, but even then, we stopped by the 70's in leading and let Japan win economically over the U.S. Yet even Japan became stagnant which is what the U.S. is now, very Stagnant in regard to technology in other products outside of computers and AI. I would never say never as we have seen companies make 180-degree change and come back even stronger. Example is IBM that was single digit in stock value in the mid 90's and got the right CEO who turned the company around into the powerhouse it is today. Ford and GM needs to shed their Legacy hooks to evolve if they really want to take on the world again.

This is interesting to watch, who knew the speed bumps were big enough to cause flying. Driving too fast: speed bump sends pickup truck flying into the air | Watch Have to totally agree with this report. A third of the U.S. economy is already in a recession or at high risk, and another third is stagnating, Zandi warns Anyone that says an auto has a lifetime liquid is BS. Everything needs service and to be changed.

WOW, We all have to live within a budget of what we earn and can afford to spend, I just do not get why it is so hard for Idiot47 and his lemming to be so stupid that they cannot seem to understand this basic idea. ‘The nation’s finances have deteriorated’ since Trump took office, CRFB says, gaming out the scenarios up to a $28.5 trillion deficit As such, I now have to question the long term viability of living in this country or even making any large purchases which could very well cause auto companies to go bankrupt as people choose to not buy their second largest purchase behind a home. First biggest purchase for young people as most cannot afford to buy a home. So Sad.

This is why NISSAN is FAILING. The failure is in confusing names of an auto with what the ability of said auto is supposed to be. Nissan launches X-Trail NISMO in Japan Here we have the press release for the X-Trail NISMO SUV. Name indicates off-road performance SUV, but in reality, as the press release states from the beginning, performance inspired Grand Touring SUV. Blending race-bred performance with everyday drivability and even the look is not Trail looking. Does this look like a Trail based SUV?
