  1. "if that means sacrificing customer like gm4life who only buy Pontiacs like a $24k Torrent when it's priced at $17k, then that's what is going to happen"

Ah hey buddy I bet I have spent more money on GM cars than you have. By the way I don't think nixing a Pontiac SUV is a good idea even if most Poncho dealers have GMC, they can have the Aciada and let Pontiac have the Torrent. Some people want a sporty CUV and don't want a Chevy. Also I shop for good deals and have paid closer to sticker on my Impala than I did on my Torrent or B-Ville trust me. Also I am a loyal customer so losing me isn't a good idea.

  2. Not exactly I do regret being called a douche. I have very strong convictions I see what people do trade in perfectly good cars in this case a very nice highway cruiser. I am hardly of a cult like mentality the Camry isn't the best car on the market, Accord or Malibu is in that class. Both of which were on import biased car and drivers ten best list that is good enough for me. Talk about a class leading interior, and the 'Bu offers a hybrid. Dedication is sticking to your convictions and supporting an American company. Listen here childern (I would bet I am old enough to be a father to some of you) I have watched many a good friend get a Toyota only to find out the grass on the other side isn't that much greener. My nephew did the same thing, although he has only had a few months with no problems yet. I call being a douche trading in a Buick after 28 years of ownership and cars that this person has been satisfied with for the most part. He wonders why Olds went under, well if people like him want Buick and GM in General to survive he should have got another car, or hey how about the comfy and roomy Ford Tarurs with the new 3.5L 6spd auto that would be a great road car. Listen I did drive a CR-V, Rav-4 before I got the Torrent just for a comparison I don't blindly buy GM products but have always like them more than the alternative and can get a good price on them. I have had excellent luck with my GM cars overall so I still find it hard to believe. Mark my words I never wished him bad luck I was just being honest. When you have been dedicated to a brand or company like I have it is hard to see loyal owners trade in on a enemy vehicle. GM makes a very nice product in the segment Malibu hybrid and there is a better looking Altima hybrid if the 'Bu was a problem. I find it odd people who say they like GM on here and throw there convictions out the window. Go ahead buy a freakin Toyota, then again I am silly country boy. I do hope he ends up with another Buick or GM car someday. So be careful with your name calling "douche" I do regret the use of this word and am slightly pissed off by it. Then again I am just "stupid and blindly" deticated to GM cars. Just like most other people on this site. This is a GM fan sight what do you expect if you want Toyo humping there must be other boards out there. Also I wasn't shuning him I just get emotionally and say what I think. Good Night.

  3. Yeah indeed I like the LT2 with the silver/ebony interior trim much more than the two tone ugly wood. I said I would never get a 4 cylinder but an LT2 with a 6spd. automatic paired to the 2.4L would have pretty good kick right? I think that is what I would get if I needed another FWD midsizer, I would consider a G6 GXP but I like the Malibu better.

  4. I cannot support his choice... I can't wish him bad luck with it but wish I could. It is what you call dedication to GM and an American product something I have and wife does too. I feel bad for this guy going from one of the best fullsizers on the market to the Camry. I don't even wanna see photos of this vanila bland boat.

  5. If I had bad luck with a GM dealer I would find another one. If your on the road alot the Camry Hybrid still isn't a great option. You will miss your Buick for sure. Check into a new Malibu, or wait for the new LaX but I think if you do go through and get a Toyota it will be your first and last. I totally agree wtih Sixty Eight!

  6. The guys above are right... Can my day get any worse... Sixty Eight get in here and save this person from buying an over-rated forigen car.

  7. Well... I have nothing to say but consider another car over a Toyota... A Camry no less... Altima? Accord? Malibu? Fusion? G6? Milan? I would miss that Lucerne too. Also if you had good luck with your Lucerne there is no way I would trade in on a Camry. Read some reviews at Yahoo Auto's and they aren't what they used to be. In addition to that why are you making this change? In addition to all of that GM is running loyality deals right now, you could get another nice midsize car over the Camry. I have ridden in them and am not impressed. I see why you say you will miss your Lucerne I would miss it alot too, if you go to a Camry from a wonderful smooth riding decent performing large vehicle like the Lucerne. Lucerne06 this one reason why Olds got the axe because of people jumping ship from vehicles they have had and owned for years and went to a Toyota. It is not my money but you be a fool to get rid of such a good car, and not consider another vehicle over the Camry Hybrid... My nephew has a new 2007 LE and it is a very cheap/tight feeling car to me. I can't wish you good luck knowing you going out to buy a car I wouldn't even consider in a million years.

  8. All I know is there was a time when we needed Unions that time isn't anymore... If they were to strike do it in Cali were the Vibe is made. I hate the fact it is all Toyo underneath and inside because the outside is two sweet to get Toyo ruined every other area on the car.

  9. I have been seeing lots of 1LT's and 2LT's. There is a navy 1LT at my sons highschools lot driven by a lil' spanish teacher. It is navy/ebony with chrome wheel covers. A 2007 Camry LE sits a few spots down everytime my son sees people walking by them he says what a good looking car the Chevy is... At least thats what he tells me. **I am sure he does he loves GM as much as I do!**

  10. I would like to see a G6 that is FWD for more volume performance mainstream, but make it different enough. With a RWD G8, Solstice and possibly coupe G8 along with the ST and GXP that would be enough RWD performance. I would like to see a new FWD G5, Torrent (revamp on Theta II), EP II G6, Delta G5, and a coupe, wagon and truck and sedan verison of G8 and of course the includes a Solstice. They can do an all GM Vibe with the HHR.

  11. While I am voting Democratic in the fall, it pains me greatly to think that I could be furthering the union cause by doing so.

I also am sick to death of unions.

    Chris

^This is why I have voted republican for the last 30 plus years...^

Honestly Hill or Obama is gonna wanna sleep in bed with the Union workers. Vote for someone who oppose Unions and let good companys get screwed over. I also vote for republicans because of right to life issues amoung many others. Having said that my favorite dem in Hillary by a mile over Obama. Enough politics get rid of the Union.

  12. I think it has nice styling and dosen't look out of shape at all. Everything is very fluid and striking. The Enclave concept wasn't watered down bad at all so I a must give Buick the benefit of the doubt and say it won't get watered down at all or hardly any.
