  1. Like I said... it's the Den-Yuk-Alade. Onve vehicle... three different grills. If I'm paying $60 Large for a Slade, I at least would expect a distinct steering wheel. How dumb do they think we are?
  2. I have no doubt that many will line up to buy it... but this is not the kind of vehicle that Cadillac needs to restore its "Standard of the World" reputation. It's a well-built, well-equipped, and glittery Yukon. It's not a game changer like the CTS was
  3. Black Viper... It makes me angry too... I so badly want Cadillac to beat the Euro/Japanese imports. A&S was a unique way to do it. They started out with boldness (love it or hate it)... and then retreated over the past 3 years. It's been "softened" or "dumbed down". This feels like a focus group approved vehicle (which Lutz vowed would never happen again at GM)
  4. Despite all they hype... a big yawn. Maybe the 2011 model will step up to the plate.
  5. Behold the Art & Science... of badge engineering. With the side treatments so identical across the Den-Yuk-Alade trio, why not just make one vehicle with 3 snap on grill and dash options.
  6. OK... the 900s, while vastly superior to their predecessors, under-whelm me. I'm taking my high hopes for GM onto the Lambdas... but maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up. ARGH
  7. I think the current SRX is more distinctive than this... and I'm not a huge fan of the SRX's styling. Come on Cadillac... how hard is it to translate the gorgeous styling of the 16 and Cien into production vehicles?
  8. Of the triplets, I think the Tahoe wins the beauty contest.
  9. Another missed opportunity to really set Cadillac apart. After the CTS, each subsequent launch vehicle seems to get watered down. Quality is up to be sure, but the distinctiveness of Art + Science is waning I'm afraid
  10. Not a huge fan from the two images shown. Grill treatment is not as 16-ish as promised. Interior - while nice- hardly sets a new standard for the industyr (maybe GM though). This makes me concerned about the direction for the next CTS
  11. My vote "My Humps" by Balck Eyed Peas. they play it constantly on XM channel 20. Oh yeah... and anything by Kelly Clarkson is starting to get on the nerves
  12. You'd be surprised... all Taurus references will go away with the refresh
  13. Stance is like the 2003 Centieme concept... except the production vehicle appears larger. And the front end treatment is a bit more masculine (think Velite or Lucerne) rather than feminine (La Crosse)

    GMC Acadia

Didn't get to view the Acadia interior. The surprise to me is that it sounds as if all 3 Lambdas will launch next year. Originally it sounded like Saturn in 2006, GMC and Buick following in 2007 (as 08 models).
  15. Interior is not quite as 1930's deco as the concept, but very elegant.
