  1. Hey??? How do you think the Holden with Zeta wont beat a 300 dodge? Right now the 300 dodge is here in OZ. And it doesn't give a Stock SV6 a scare really. The VZ SS the old Holden will splash it's parts all over the place. Now think what a HSV Clubsport would do to the SRT-8. HSV With it's 6lt .0-100 kp/h in under 5seconds. low 13 quarters. Just wait till the VE it will be better by far. If you guys can get the Monaro(GTO) For just over $30,000 or under USD When we pay $60,000 AUD for it you will be getting cheap cars from us for sure. To be honest i don't know why you guys don't have this imported by GM.. VZ Commodore SS. 5.7lt 250kw 4 speed auto or 6 speed man. Firm suspension for some good fun good handling and comfort RWD and got some little goodies in it also. If you can get the Monaro(GTO) in the U.S for half what we pay then this would be around $25,000 or under USD easy.
  2. So when i said it was a fake the first pic and you said scroll down it's no fake, What did you mean? And i never said you said that it was the VE. And i have not mentioned anything about photos in this thread. I don't need to read that LS1 thread I'm in it.
  3. The First pic is a fake. If you go on it shows you someone has used the VY Which sits with fat guards and qaud exhuast to make it out to be a VE pic. Yes VE sits under that VY body but that car is not the VE. This was done with fake ad-ons like Monaro lights strecthed body etc. A Photo-shop job and bad to. This is the Real VE.... in full VE here -1 VE here-2
  4. What you need to understand is holden builds Large RWD cars. This is it. They come in different variants. Utes LWB SWB Coupe. All these models are built off the Commodore in one way or another. This is the Aussie GTO from HSV. Now all these cars start there life as a Commodore. See any difference in them yet? But on the name change it's not up to Holden it's GM desicsion same as the Monaro (GTO). Ok... The GTO(Monaro) Is based on the VT Commodore that was first build in 97. It shares more of that car then any other Holden. The Commodores are all built on the 97 VT. This new VE will be the first major change to the car since the old VL was replaced with the VN Back in 88. This is a all new car. This is what the Monaro (GTO) Was built on.. But as i know it most of the GTO buyer convert there GTO almost back to the Monaro look anyway. I can show you the models as they went throught little changes or major changes but as the Commodore goes it was first built in 78. First big change to it was 86. First major change was 88. Then went to 94 for a slight make over into 97 for a major change. Now we are waiting for the VE as the biggest change in Holden history to a car. This is 100% new no carry over and we have some crappy pics if you guys are intrested.
  5. The Pic on the LS1.com Forum is a fake. Didn't anyone know that 6-12 months ago Holden sent a VY Wagon from Melbourne airport to the U.S with Quad Exhaust. The reason Holden is moving the tank has nothing to do with the U.S, We have had some rear accidents of late with VT VX's and some very hard hit's to the rear have ignited the fuel tank it's more safety wise this is being done. And on zeta it has more to do with Mercedes then sigma, I don't know where the zeta being based of the sigma come from?. And the only way to get a VN-VZ Commodore Sedan with Twin pipes like the Monaro with the standard rear tank is to have part of it removed and fiberglassed you may loose 15-30% of the tank capacity.
  6. Your not impressed with these Holden's??. And your argument for high displacement engines is very wrong. In 97 with the Holden VT they had a little 5LT V8 185kw. That model brought Holden back to life back to the top and all they had was a 5LT V8 and 3.8lt V6. So much for high displacement engines  The Holden Commodore is Australia's top selling car and has been for many many years now. And will be again this year;). I also know that Holden VE will form the base of a new Buick in 2008 if that info is right.
  7. What about all GM own that's outside of the U.S?? Just like GM has done forgot the rest. Some country's rely heavy on there car manufactures.
  8. If you want to see the Holden range of utes here is the place. There is just about anything you want from them from RWD V6 to RWD V8's To AWD V6's and V8's 2 doors 4 doors Tray rears etc. http://www.holden.com.au/www-holden/action...ry?vehicleid=15
