  1. They had to change the interior to have the one cupholder - the euro version has none. Expect the next gen to have more.
  2. tnx. Perdue makes chicken, Purdue makes graduates, and I make, well, whatever I decide to make. lol
  3. Um... duh? At least there is something in there, I wouldn't have been that surprised if it hadn't had. It's a concept. I think the flack you took was more from your generally pessimistic attitude about whether/when the real thing would come about.
  4. Autoweek article "GM will offer DUB-branded tires on trucks, SUVs" http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...30008/1530/FREE
  5. Don't know if any of you remember my old "PurdueGuy's Page" website, but it's back with a new name. www.SaturnSeries.net Aside from some minor formatting changes, it's pretty much the same content. Main features: +Almost 70 DIY guides for S-Series +Huge Saturn links "master list" +"Knowledge Guides" for answering common Q's about several Saturn models Check it out, let me know if you find any bugs, if you have any suggestions, or if you'd like to contribute to the site.
  6. looks pretty good to me.
  7. I would guess that the 'chops were the first photos released to the press, and that we'll see some actual show photos later on.
  8. Should be pretty good... if you can get one for fifty cents, I'll give you a dollar for it! Double your money!!
  9. no front shot?
  10. What part of "race concept" did you misunderstand? Daily life has nothing to do with it...
  11. Put some better looking wheels on it, and
  12. +1, the regular 'burban front end looks terrific.
  13. Well, for one, you don't have to plug it in - the on board generator can do the charging. Of course that misses out on a lot of the advantage of the car. If the vehicle (and/or other plug-in vehicles) become popular enough, perhaps metered outlets can be installed for public use? That way every spot has an outlet...
  14. I pretty much have to agree, though I've seen worse wheels. The overall look is pretty good.
  15. 500hp Ecotec. Very cool.
  16. I like it, though I'm not sure about the rear wheel flares, I think I prefer without. Still, looks good.
  17. I couldn't find a snoring smiley, so I'll just say ZZZZZZZZ.....
  18. I'm a bit underwhelmed. It's well done (aside from questionable seat fabrics), but where all the other concepts are over the top, this one is barely warmed up. It's nice, but not "woweee!"
  19. Understood, as said- it's a term that got packed with emotion during WWII. I'm simply ALSO acknowledging that for those who weren't around during that time, it doesn't hold the same negative connotation. I didn't mean to dismiss the value in understanding what it means to others and be sensitive to that.
  20. I expect it started as more of a shorter way of simply saying "Japanese", but with WWII, a lot of negative emotion got packed into the word, and for some it's still there. I agree that it doesn't feel like a word that's meant to hurt feelings, it just feels like a shortened way of saying Japanese.
  21. I think the $30k price tag may limit the sales #s, but if that's with a ton of standard features, then it should still sell pretty well. I look forward to seeing not only how this does, but watching prices come down as production goes up and technology ages.
  22. Thanks for posting that - good to see Sixthsphere.com listed too - EXCELLENT site.
