  1. Just awful. All stereotypical 'tough guy' touches with no unifying theme at all. But then, the Jeep designers haven't been all that sharp lately--just look at the new Wagoneer: it's a major step backward in that vehicle's development. All chunky and ungainly in all the wrong places. At least the new Wrangler looks good.
  2. 2009? Talk about being late for the train! By then "retro" will be over and the other builders will be on to the next new thing and GM will be standing there wondering where everybody went. It's a great looking car, but it needs to be in the showrooms right now. GM needs a home run now, if they want to turn things around. Promises of future glory--3 years from now--won't keep them afloat.
  3. "You sound like a narrow minded conservative. Open your mind!" Actually, I'd bet he or she is a liberal. They are the ones trying to outlaw trucks and SUVs. Long live our right to drive what we want!
  4. I think all you guys that compare this car to full size trucks are missing the point. Think Ford Exploder Sport-trac. It's the only comparable vehicle: just an SUV with an open bed in back. Obviously that car isn't expected to do what the F150 can do. And for the record, I don't drive a Honda, just an old beat-up S-10 PU.
