  1. I own a GTI with a 2.0T. If you run these cars hard, or any turbo car, it is a good idea to let them cool down. In normal everyday driving, you don't have to. They are cooled after you shut the engine off and modern turbos run cooler to begin with. Turbo cars can burn oil, the 2.0T does.
  2. Civic Si, yes MS3, not so much
  3. I'd hope so To be honest though, none of the mods have really changed my mileage significantly. We are talking .1 .2L/100Kms
  4. I should mention that my car has an AEM intake, GMPP exhaust and a HPT tune that is currently running slightly rich.
  5. The lowest I have ever seen is in the 7.5 range on the highway at around 130Km/h (80MPH)I have a heavy foot and am almost always in the city, rarely on the highway. My average speed is usally around 50KM/H according to the DIC.
  6. I can tell you as an owner of a 2.4L, they don't get the best mileage. I average between 10.5 and 11.5 L/100kms. If I drive like a girl, I can get 9.5L/100kms. Mine is a stick.I'd image the 2.0L be similar and better if you kept it out of the boost...
  7. Neither the Mazda 3, the SRT-4, Sentra SE-R SpecV or the Civic Si are available with an auto... having said that I understand having an auto option opens up the car to a more buyers, the question is; are said buyers simply upgrading from a Cobalt Sport or would they have bought something totally different. The last thing Chevy needs is for the Cobalt to loose credibility much like how a V6 Mustang is regarded as a secretary's car. I have no issue with the sedan other than its not the best looking car in its class.
  8. I hope they only offer the auto, if at all, in the 4door
  9. LOL, The Si can barely run with the 2.4SS. I ran a 15.37 in mine while my friend ran a 15.1 in his 07 Si...
  10. The pic doesnt have the right wheels or the new grill and its missing its bowtie in the back.
  11. 1) There is nothing wrong with that, the Civic Si is identical to the regular Civic save for a bigger exhaust, a sticker and bigger wheels. It takes a trained eye to spot the difference. The GTi only has a unique front bumper and wheels to distinguish it, the WRX, just the rims and the sticker on the back are different. The Cobalt SS has as many or more unique exterior styling elements as other cars in its class. 2)They offer the option of the big wing for you so you can shout about how your car is teh fastest.
  12. How about 4 piston Brembo brakes with ventilated rear discs, new seats, stronger axles, different final drive, mesh grill, launch control. What else did you want? What other compact offers Brembo brakes? My only worry is that there is no mention of a LSD. This is a huge improvement and I can't wait to get out of my 2.4SS and get one.
  13. Not true, the car came in 05 and 06 with only the big spoiler and then in 07, there was the option of having the lower profile spoiler. There was never a factory wing delete...
  14. I really really really really hope it has a 6-speed manual and xenon or at the very least projector lights. In a more realistic world, I'd be happy with better seats (Recaros or something like the HHR SS) and a new handbrake design and a no wing option from the factory.
