  1. Well I would highly recommend a Lucerne to anyone who wants a great cruiser with nice power and enough of the comforts of home. I traded my 06 CXL for a G8 Gt but would not hesitate to go back to the Lucerne. Glad to here people on this forum who appreciate it for what it is not what it does not pretend to be. Those of you who constantly put down Buick and the Lucerne, get a life!!!!
  2. I saw on the LAAuto Show website that the Riviera concept is listed as being there. Is this true? If not, maybe in Detroit. Hopefully there will be some announcement made regarding it.
  3. Good night nurse, by the time GM gets this thing out will anyone still want it. Three years from when it was shown as a concept to Feb 09 production. This is way too long. The challenger will have been out for almost a year longer. Ridiculous.
  4. For what it's worth, I was at my BPG dealer today with my Enclave and spoke with the sales manager who was at a GM meeting last week and I asked him about the following products. 1) The G8 ----comment was "it's a hot looking car and production started this week. Should be at dealers in DEC-JAN. 2) the rumour of the Aussie Ute coming here as an El Camino----comment "nothing was said about it" 3)the new Lacrosse-----comment"you are really going to like this car" with a big smile on his face. 4)the Riviera concept-----comment"I can't comment on this at his time" said it with a very sly look on his face. and 5) the Chinese Park Ave. Same comment as the Riviera. So I wonder what this means if anything. He did not say NO to the Riv and PA so who knows.
  5. Regarding the exterior of the Lacrosse, do you think it will have more styling cues from the Velite or the Shanghai Riv??? I unfortunately don't believe we will ever see the Velite in production o they might as well use some of its designs. Especially the front end of the car. By the way, I am a Buick junkie with an Enclave, Lucerne CXS and some classics as well. I so hope it will survive. There is something to me romantic about the old Buicks.
