Limp-home mode was a feature of the first-gen Northstar.

No, probably not, after all they won't be selling many Solstice GXPs, Sky Redlines and Opel GT's, the CTS isn't very high volume and the 3.6 DI is only a fraction of that, and the bulk will still be coming from the 2.2 Direct in the Signum and Vectra. Since DI diesels make up nearly half of European volume I don't think they're being counted in this total.I'm sure that there will be more..just being understated...I'm sure.

Can I suggest that everyone in favor say so on GM's blogs—the new Saturn ad article on FYI might be a good place to start.

Not a car, the 2007 Outlook, and yes, I think you can expect this engine in te 2008 CTS with about 300 hp and 270 lb-ft.uhm... which car does a 267hp 3.6 come in?
255 + 15% = 293hp
I wonder if they can find 7 hp in there somewhere for the '08 CTS.

Yeah, but how many buy the Uplander at all, except for fleets.

Similar, the final specs have yet to be seen.Is the 3.0 truck diesel the Izusu one they use overseas in the DMax now?

Illegal migration is a worldwide problem. You can do so much to dissuade people from coming, but people go where they see opportunity and a future. Open labor markets will solve many problems, such as coyotes and exploitation and eliminate most incentives to hire migrant workers, but it won't stop people coming even if there isn't work to be found, nor will it solve the social problems that large migrant populations create, as you saw in the Paris riots.

The H3 gets a different 3.0 L diesel designed for truck applications.

And there's the McIntosh sound system.

Better than 96% pf respondants agree with you imaj:This car outclasses any subcompact, GM has no reason for not bringing it to the US! It has navigation! Something the Aura, Impala, G6 and Malibu don't even offer! And the 1.6 Turbo 180hp version comes with a 6-Speed Manual.

Perodua is a Malaysian subsidiary of Daihatsu, Toyota's small-car subsidiary.

? The official unveiling isn't for another two months. Someone has gotten too excited and ignored the embargo again.
-
It's not a regular manual transmission, but a manual version of the new 6-speed auto.Who exactly is going to buy a manual transmission in a full-size (or even mid-size) car? GM large cars haven't offered a manual transmission since early 1971!

Since I see it as bigger than the Invicta, then Electra.

Cadillac still keeps Sigma, plus there are also the Performance Car rwd architectures.

Apparently rather then "You all did them", almost nobody has or does. How do we avoid them? Never had to. Even with alcohol although I keep a range of spirits, I almost never get round to drinking them. It's always easier to grab a soda or make coffee. I'm not even sure where I've put the whisky.

Yes I can imagine if you drove an S-series with the old Opel 3.0 L V6 it would have been pretty unrefined, but at least it would have been very quick off the mark. I suspect though you are thing of the L-Series.The problem with S series is that god awful Opel 3.0 engine. There are diesels more refined than that engine.

The BMW roundel in red was the logo of the Eisenach Motor Works, producing pre-war BMWs in East Germany in the former BMW factory in Eisenach (originally the Dixi factory, producing Austin 7s under licence when it was bought by BMW—the first 3-Series from the fiscal hp). GM razed the factory and built a state-of-the-art plant producing Corsas on the site. It's kind of like the BMW roundel. You can get brand new ones in different colors (the blue usually replaced by another color). You can get them in black, silver, red, carbon fiber, anything...or there are overlays available with colors/patterns of your choice of course.
You don't see BMW messing with the logos...let the consumer mess with it if they want to change it so badly.

Or they could be talking about an aftermarket tuner, since there are accompanying photos as well, undisguised and in the open.Maybe this is the perfect way to introduce an interior redesign
-
These are not "top picks" in the sense that they are the first choice as a purchase, merely what people are talking about, just as Letterman, Leno and co. are always talking about Bush.

It's not called Mesa :AH-HA_wink:

I wonder how many they had to blow up to get the right shot.and hopefully GM didnt pay for that...

Driver and passenger side grab handles have different functions. The driver side is only to close the door, while the passenger side also serves as something to hold on to during off-roading or fast cornering etc. The driver of course needs to keep his hands on the wheel.

They did blow up a Lamborghini—that would have been expensive.
