Mitsubishi Motors Reports March Sales

CYPRESS, Calif., April 1, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitsubishi Motors today

announced total March 2008 sales of 10,750.

-- Galant was the volume leader at 2,676, up 26.6% from last March's

volume.

-- This was Galant's best first quarter in three years.

-- Lancer closed at 2,514, up 32.7% from last March's volume.

-- This was also Lancer's best first quarter in three years.

-- Overall Mitsubishi sales were off 14.2% for March compared to March

2007 sales of 12,536.

manufacturing, finance, sales, marketing, research and development

operations for Mitsubishi Motors in the United States. MMNA sells coupes,

convertibles, sedans, sport utility vehicles, and light trucks through a
