Removing the interior dome lamp

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have access to a manual or to an online web site that shows me how to remove the interior dome lamp from my wife's 2008 Pontiac G6 Sedan??

Look for a Pontiac G6 owners club site.

My guess, though, would be that it just clips into the ceiling.

Dome Lamp Replacement (Sedan)

Removal Procedure:

Insert a flat-bladed tool between the lens and the headliner.

Remove the bulbs (1,2,3).

Slide the lamp housing to either the left or the right and pull downward.

Disconnect the wire connector.

Installation Procedure:

Install the wire connector.

Install the lamp housing to the headliner.

Install the bulbs (1,2,3).

Install the lens until the tabs are fully seated.

If you would like a scan of it w/ the drawing shown, PM me your email address and I send it to you. :firebird:

fightingbee - I got your e-mail just a little while ago, downloaded the PDF file, and then tried it out. I just sent you another e-mail with a small problem I'm having; not sure if you can help, but figured I'd ask anyway. Thanks again for your assistance!!
