The 2017 Hyundai Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid is shown in motion on a tree-lined road, the Plug-in Hybrid badge visible near the front wheel. The PHEV version uses the same 1.6L Atkinson-cycle engine as the Hybrid but adds a larger 8.9 kWh battery for extended electric-only driving capability.
