  1. Well, they were boring. Most people (outside of car forums) wouldn't be able to tell you what that car was. Who knows, it might be, but I doubt it.I hope these are just introductory ads. GM needs to have ads that really highlight their product and it's features. Look at most Honda Accord ads, they spend the whole ad showing you the car. This makes it more recognizable and puts the image of the car in the mind of the buyer.
  2. Hmm.. I wonder if we'll be seeing this one soon. January Detroit show?
  3. Something new for Buick -- the Enclave is very nice, but we need to see new CARS and get some excitement building for the big investments GM has said they're making. Buick needs a serious boost. Pontiac is second on the list - lets see a new GTO or Grand Prix.
  4. It seems like about a year ago GM was saying they weren't satisified with the STS interior and were saying that they would upgrade it soon. This has got to be where they're headed with the '08 update. It is in line with what they did to the SRX and I can't imagine them making this investment only for the Chinese version, especially with the platform globalization direction they've been moving toward.
  5. I hope you're right. I think that when we see the production Aura debut, we'll have a good indicator for this vehicle. Lutz claimed that the Aura concept was 90+ % what the production vehicle would be. It was also based on a production vehicle G6. The G6, on the other hand, did not come very close to the concept and GM got criticized pretty heavily on this board and others including GM's Fastlane Blog for that mistake. I think the production Enclave will be very close to this concept minus some of the extra luxuries. I really like some of the extras they've added (such as the fold down tables for the rear seat.) I wouldn't expect quite as much wood moulding inside either.

    GMC Envoy?

Some would consider getting GM interiors on par with other best in class interiors to be extroardinary. Interiors have been one of GM's biggest problem areas. Personally, I'm quite pleased. Just compare this to the current TrailBlazer interior and I think you have to agree that they've really come a long way.
