  1. B -34% avg. dis. 139 confirmed cases in the largest county in AZ (Maricopa) with 4.5M people out of 7.2M in the state. Pretty good stats really. Kinda creepy in the evening when there's nobody on the street driving or walking in a decently populated area during peak tourist season here when it's usually kinda crazy.
  2. Interesting info. https://www.unacast.com/covid19/social-distancing-scoreboard
  3. China's delusional dictatorship is actually trying to make China look like the hero or rescuer by helping Asian and European countries who are suffering while slamming the U.S.A. with BS propaganda to try to take world power from the West. It won't work, if anything it will backfire right in their faces. I guarantee we (US Gov't. and hopefully the Can. Gov't) will make them pay one way or another for all of this bullsh!t once we get back on our feet. https://www.wired.com/story/opinion-dictatorships-are-making-the-coronavirus-outbreak-worse/
  4. Very true, the strong companies will survive and we will all be better people after all of this. Yup, bunch of dictator liars in China and Russia.
  5. Exactly, it wasn't the virus itself that he was calling a hoax people, it was the constantly negative liberal MSM narrative. Every American should support President Trump as HE IS OUR PRESIDENT like it or not. So much hate for a man who is working for F'n FREE by donating his salary to charities and most recently to the Coronavirus fight. He didn't need or want the job, especially at a time when he would be ready to relax with retirement. He's kept promises he made on the campaign trail in 2015 and 2016 and has improved the country in many ways and he's not a career politician, that's a good thing! He stated that he wants to open up the country by Easter with an optimistic view on the fight that some of the best doctors in the world here in the U.S. are putting to it, not that it will for sure open back up on Easter weekend as he's taking guidance from the doctors that he and VP Pence appointed to the Coronavirus Task Force. That's much better than saying "Oh we'll all be in quarantine for months" isn't it? Stop with the divisive hate on here already people it doesn't help anyone! If your state's local government failed with obvious incompetence don't blame it on the current Administration in DC, blame it on your State's incompetent governor and/or mayor's who should have had their own plan in place for something this devastating. Better yet, blame it on the corrupt communist dictatorship who started the whole damn thing in one of their nasty wet markets, and then lied about it when their own top doctors tried to alert others about it who were then muffled by the dictator leadership who covered it up for months! They're still lying about the new or confirmed cases inside their nasty disease of a country as well. I'm not saying that I always agree with what President Trump says and tweets, but the vast majority of his actions show he is working (again for FREE) for the better of this country. Everybody needs to just take a couple of deep breaths. Learn some martial arts and take it out on a punching bag or hanging weight bag. It helps and you'll feel so much better!
  6. For you @oldshurst442 One of the best classic movie scenes ever
  7. Building them in one of the IN plants. πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‘πŸ» https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/03/gm-to-use-indiana-facility-to-produce-ventilators-in-covid-19-response/
  8. Exactly, underlying conditions like respiratory illness or weak immune system or both. The younger with strong immune system can transmit it without symptoms like you were saying that's the problem is cocky kids running around the beaches for Spring Break not using social distancing of 6 ft. The parents who let them go should be beat upside the head along with them. People need to take this sh!t seriously. Yup, 1918 Spanish Flu killed millions including the Dodge bros. at a young age.
  9. Exactly, but it needs a host body to multiply and thrive before the host immune system either kills it or it kills the host. So if people aren't out spreading it even unknowingly then we can knock it down and eventually beat it just gonna take some time. Keep the elderly safe in your respective families and neighborhoods. I've been helping an 81yo neighbor who has advanced COPD and is on oxygen 24/7, very scary for her being the highest at risk with this bug.
  10. Absolutely, and I wasn't comparing the size of Spain and population per sq. mile (we don't use kilometers here as you two know) to the U.S.. For cases to spike pretty much overnight in Spain and to jump to 4th is pretty alarming and it could be that they are completing more test like we are here in the States. Here's the official COVID-19 map JHU keeps updated that I also posted above. https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html
  11. Right, U.S. doctors said we would have a jump in cases because of tests being completed, but Spain jumped significantly like overnight that's gotta be pretty alarming for them. Ours should level out hopefully soon then drop off. Just stay home as much as possible people, we will beat this bastard bug.
  12. This Chinese Coronavirus has a very high recovery rate in the US right now, which is obviously a good thing. My neighbor who's a doc for VA Hospital here in Phoenix (healthy mid 50's) is sure he got it three weeks ago and self quarantined at home no test was available then, had up and down fever spikes with cough and headache like common flu but uncommon fever spikes which is key symptom of COVID-19. Creepy bug that's for sure. It's mutating very fast as well. Per Johns Hopkins University it originally was only animal to animal transmission but mutated to have ability to go from animal to human then within 2 to 3 weeks mutated again to be able to transmit from human to human and it's in two different strains now so our bodies immune systems have never "seen" it or had to fight it. Now sounds like Spain is going to pass us for 3rd most cases, they just had major jump in cases. Our current Admin. jumped on cutting direct U.S. travel from China by February 2nd which did help cut direct transmission from travelers coming from China, contrary to the haters out there. https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/coronavirus
  13. GM just announced that they will be building them with Ventec in partnership. Tesla said they could help with PPE if needed. Good stuff! https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/03/gm-to-help-boost-ventec-respirator-production-in-fight-against-covid-19/
  14. And yet another one you wouldn't fit in. Front seat out sit in back...πŸ˜‚
  15. I noticed it was a Wendy's burger too with the square patties I like the Spicy Chicken sandwich myself +1+1+1+1+1 Couldn't have said it better myself David!!
  16. We've used Zoom and Slack for a few years now. Zoom for video conferencing and Slack for IM, both work pretty well.
  17. Knew his old job ended and maybe got new one, but not able to jump on later at night or early morning even? Maybe just sick of babysitting. We know @oldshurst442 is a handful!
  18. Since you guys are all over the place now, anyone know if Drew is shutting this site down or if he's sick? He told me month's ago he needed more clicks on the page. Maybe he meant "cliques", think he's got that covered though He hasn't been online for a full month as of today...
  19. Think you meant to respond to ocnblu bud.
  20. Absolutely, I agree we all should take it seriously and always think about ways to stay safe from diseases.
  21. I tend to believe and trust the top doctors in the U.S.A. myself and they're saying wash your hands with soap for 20+ secs. is one of the best way to fight it. Creepy as it sounds, the little invisible bugs get in your mucus membranes if you touch your eyes, nose or mouth when your hands are dirty with bacteria and viruses. That's one Fugly Ford! πŸ˜‚
  22. Stock Market needs to briefly close down like they did after 911. Pandemic panic. Right, so personal space comes into play as well. 3 ft. is now 6 ft. fine with me! Lets just see how it turns out before we all panic. We might just get this thing under control before you know it. Either way we will get through it people, lets try to keep a positive attitude πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸΌ
  23. Wash hands in hot soapy water for 20 secs or more several times a day, cover cough with inside of elbow and don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth before you wash up. Common sense and good daily hygiene goes a long ways, something I've always followed. Same way to greatly help in preventing the spread of the common cold or seasonal flu. Biggest one is Stay Home when sick.
  24. Not the sharpest tools in the shed. They post videos of diesel trucks they've modified rolling coal and think it's not going to go viral?
  25. Like you've stated recently, lets keep politics out of it and keep subjects to autos. Thanks! πŸ€œπŸΌπŸ€›πŸΌ
