  1. Counting Married 30 years and counting.
  2. Love ranch for covering the taste of veggies, but I just do not get the Guacamole. The taste and texture of that fruit is just blah to me. Glad you love it, we all gotta love our dressings some how. My mom loves that too, says it lets the veggies speak for themselves. I will stick with covering them up with regular Ranch.
  3. I can totally respect that comfy look. Checking work email and then gonna eat breakfast. Will do a mid morning workout.
  4. Band Camp
  5. This is so Funny! Watch the video in the story at the link below, the guy usually takes auto's apart and tells ya how much it will cost to manufacture. He is able to check out a Changli which is the cheapest EV in the world. Very funny video to watch. https://jalopnik.com/we-took-the-worlds-cheapest-ev-to-a-car-manufacturing-e-1845484056
  6. Very interesting write up on comparing the electric pickups coming out versus the Ford Raptor. https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/gmc-hummer-ev-tesla-cybertruck-rivian-bollinger-electric-truck-comparison/
  7. I so could get into having this to play Mario Cart at home.
  8. Seems Lordstown motors has completed and is now trading on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol RIDE. Lordstown motors is also on track to begin full production of their pickup truck that is initially aimed at Government agencies, businesses and school systems that need truck handling. https://chargedevs.com/newswire/lordstown-finalizes-spac-deal-starts-trading-on-nasdaq/
  9. WOW, the first of the Chinese auto companies are now exporting EVs to Norway. First 100 are on board heading to the country that leads the world in EV adoption. Xpeng has their sites set on also selling their EVs in the America's region, but for now is focusing on delivering quality auto's to Europe as well as China. https://chargedevs.com/newswire/xpengs-g3-electric-suv-is-on-its-way-to-norway/
  10. Tesla is installing a 40 MWh battery system in Santa Barbra to increase GRID Resilience for the area which will reduce brown outs and outages as there is only a single supply route. The focus of California is to build in clean energy as a backup of renewable energy. Pictures of the install is on the link at the bottom. To quote: It is going to reinforce a weak point in the region’s electricity transmission system known as the Goleta Load Pocket (GLP). Coastal View reports: Clean Coalition, who has been backing the project and pushing it through approval, says that the VESR project is going to be a first step in creating a microgrid to protect the region from such outages. They wrote: They decided to go with Tesla’s latest utility-scale battery technology: the Tesla Megapack. VESR will consist of 15 Tesla Megapacks and the first 5 batteries are currently being deployed at the site. https://electrek.co/2020/10/26/tesla-megapacks-deployed-increase-grid-resilience-santa-barbara-county/ Very interesting read as the web site iseecars reviewed the start of widely available hybrids and what the longest owned versions where. No surprise to see Toyota at the top with #1,2 &3 spots covered by Toyota Highlander Hybrid 38%, Avalon Hybrid 36.5% and Camry Hybrid 34.6%. Toyota's Lexus ES 300h sedan and Prius were in the top 10 of the longest owned auto's. Low cost of ownership with reduced maintenance costs seems to make these auto's push the 10 year plus ownership. This I can see increasing the number of older auto's on the road as people upgrade less often. https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1130070_why-do-owners-of-toyota-hybrids-keep-their-vehicles-so-long
  11. Freeze Dried ice cream
  12. Am a dog lover, my sister is checking out the type of dog she wants to get. Spent the weekend with this labradoodle.
  13. Awesome, young or older person who bought it? Happy it is going to a new home. A money pit gone!
  14. Seems this 20 year old comes from money that daddy supplies.
  15. Seen that with so many GM, Fords, FCA, etc. Democracy and freedom is the ability of choice. Buying American does NOT insure you get a quality product as American products of the 70s to 2000s has proven. Nationalist Propaganda does not insure quality. Taking accountability to read the owners manual, follow scheduled maintenance gets ya closer but even then does not insure quality. On another note, many of us can respect this man's welding project that my sister sent me today since she knows I grew up making models.

  18. Explain please, this seems crazy as I just got a few cartons of ice cream at my local Fred Meyers. EV in the ICE Thread! Tesla of China is recalling 30,000 plus Tesla S and X from 2013 to 2018 imported from California due to suspension issues. OUCH https://www.ibtimes.com/tesla-recall-30000-cars-china-over-suspension-defects-3068441
  19. That just has all kinds of Stupid written all over it as there is no reason to stay that dated other than just plain laziness IMHO. Crazy how govs will waste money on archaic stuff.
  20. Multi-Cultural people
  21. Seattle School district a few years ago paid 3 men millions of dollars to come out of retirement to help get their data off a custom Cobol based scheduling system and onto a modern school scheduling system. Was crazy as they also just last year decommissioned their attendance system which was based on Digitals VMS system which I admit to having worked on. NERDS Rule!!!
  22. Avoid Opera and Epic, seems to have way too much advertisements to help pay for their development. Safari is as far as I know a Mac only browser now. I agree with Robert, I use on both home and work systems the latest MSFT Edge browser, works way better than Firefox and chrome even though it is a chrome based browser.
  23. Congrats Drew, Looking forward to pictures of your new baby for you two.
  24. My Edge browser is saying we are secure.
  25. In regard to me thinking positive that they will start in the $50K range, Gotta be positive on all new tech. Chevrolet version will probably be there since clearly Hummer is the Cadillac version of the trucks. Clarify? Ya mean how we can now do a 350V fast charge something that did not exist 100 years ago. Faster charging will come as battery tech continues to make jumps. I can also see just like ICE with a Jeep Wrangler having a couple of 5 gallon tanks full of petro. I can see replaceable battery packs eventually that are solid state you would have fully charged when you go off road to swap out to keep on wheeling, use, etc.
