  1. I agree. One reason I like the Saturn Vue is the fact it is closer in size to my 91 Jimmy 4dr. However I don't really want a FWD and like having a full frame. It may be old school but mine has 300,000+ miles so it can't be all wrong.
  2. 1991 GMC S-15 Jimmy 4dr, 299,5xx miles 2 alternators, 2 a/c compressors, 1 water pump, 1 radiator, and 1 ring/pinion with bearings. Smokes sometimes at start up, has a rear main seal leak. I bought it with 28,xxx miles on it at two years old, can't find anything I want to replace it with.
  3. The 4.3 V6 may be old but proven tech but with a 91 Jimmy at 293,000 miles, I won't say a bad thing about it. I was sorry to see it go from the midsize SUV. Time will tell if the newer engines will last that long.
