I've honestly never heard an "electrical sound". It was a whining/slapping/chirping all tied into one. Maybe I'll throw it back together and see if it starts again tomorrow...

Meh, thanks, Northie, but the car's tuned out. Timing chain sounds like it could most definitely be right. Looks like we'll be tearing up the engine again tomorrow lol

Nope, def not like the last time.. last time was really loud popping from exhaust. Spark plugs were on wrong coilpacks. We think it's the timing chain... I hope. Oh, and I had the car tuned out. That should be good.

Car's running fine. Wonderfully. Cam's been installed for 200 miles now... So my dad takes my car out for a test drive and notices a whining/long-clicking sound. Weird. Coming from driver's side (he says top, I say bottom). Engine's running and we're checking it out. He pulls the throttle cable a little and engine dies and won't start again. It cranks a little, but not enough to get her going. Alternator and battery were just checked and perfectly fine.. WTF?!
