  1. GM does seems to be doing more ride and drive events at auto shows. Until last year, I never saw them do it at auto shows. Usually there were only Toyota or Ford. They did it at the LA Auto Show, and even at one of the small regional auto shows. I was talking to the Chevy ride and drive dude how I missed the Auto Show in Motion and the short-lived Main Street in Motion, and he said that the big events are coming back, but I kind of doubted that he would really know.
  2. The current generation Legacy also gained about 3 inches in width and height, and that adds to the visual bulk. I like the Legacy, though it has a lot of fussy styling details.
  3. A smaller four-door "coupe" sounds good in concept, but too bad it will be FWD.
  4. Main Street in Motion was canceled in September, and GM redirected the marketing dollars to advertising. It seems unlikely it will be reprised anytime soon.

  6. Nice Firebird. That was a pretty nice selection of low mileage cars you were able to choose from. A certain former C&Ger would be impressed with that 98. I had a smile that you still had the tape on the hood of your Achieva. Too bad the paint was coming up with it.

  19. Yes, they are still asking pretty much the sticker price for the car. It has sat for 8 years with no appreciation.
