  1. A few recent sightings: A Enterprise-special Chevrolet Captiva, a Jag with license plates "BRG XK8" (I assume the color of the car was British Racing Green, but I couldn't tell because it was dark), a red Hyundai Veloster (very nice-looking in person), and a white Sonic sedan.
  2. It's hard to get excited over some ridges on the hood.
  3. These were not bad cars for the times, and this was the successor of sorts to the Dodge Omni GLH.

  6. Nice, a lot of the line Givenchy version.

  10. The Toyota MR2 was badged MR-S in Japan, and the M and R stood for mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. So FR-S could stand for front engine, rear-wheel-drive.
  11. These cars are the AE86 that inspired the FT-86. While the Celica could work as the name of the car, it has a little bit too much of a "secretary's car" connotation. The AE-86 Toyota Corollas went away after the '87 model year. The last RWD Celica was in '85. Afterwards, the Supra was no longer a Celica variant.

  16. This was actually my favorite car for a while in the early '80s. I was a pre-teen and didn't know any better, but Pontiac had the best-looking X-car.
  17. Country and western I mostly listen to the news in the car. If I throw on a CD, it'll be the Pet Shop Boys, Go-Gos, or Tear for Fears.

    Here's The Next 3-Series

Pretty much all the other BMWs had marked improvements in styling over their predecessors, but this car is a mixed bag, and the headlights are a little too weird.
  25. Happy birthday!
