  1. Are we sure this isn't photoshopped? It seems as though the logo on the steering wheel has a smudge on the top right side and center console was left alone while the upper dash and the rest of gauges were horizontally flipped and then corrected.

Compare to the other photos in the thread if you need to see for yourself.

GM photoshops their own photos ALOT . Look in any dealer brochure . Hell , they were still in the 2001 and 2002 Camaro brochures , they were photoshopping pics from the 93 brochure and various other years . In some pics it VERY obvious . This pic is most likely a photoshop from GM of the Concepts interior made to look like the base model .

  2. Look at the front bumper, rear bumper, exhast tips, wheels... BV's right, both silver Vue's are Red Lines, but the headlights and tail-lights are different.

The headlights are the same . Projectors sometimes photograph oddly . Sometimes in certain lighting they nearly look like the lights are on , and in some lighting conditons like the 1st batch of GM photo's they look completely dark . Look REALLY close , you can see the projector headlight in the latest in the flesh Redline photos .

  3. The Silver widebody car you guys were talking about , the Cobalt 272 concept and few other concept Sema cobalts were in that commercial . No 2008 preview there ;)

I seriously do not think thats a hint to the refreshed nose either . When GM did the widebody cobalt in 2005 , they were likely in the middle of doing the 08 Malibu as well . The 2 teir grill on the widebody was likely used to guage reactions for the future corporate face ....an indirect preview of sorts . Look back at GM concepts and Sema cars , they do this kinda think alot .

  4. I seen the 08 Cobalt on the superbowl commerical last night and it looks just like the 08 Malibu in the front.. im thinking they could show it at the Cleveland auto show.. would be nice since they build it not far from Cleveland..

That was not the 2008 Cobalt . That was a GM built Cobalt for the 2005 Sema show to promote the cobalt within the aftermarket .

  5. I pull mine up about little past 1/2 way . I dont ever remember having to use any extra effort . My 05 SS/SC has 47,000 miles . I dont ever rely on just the brake on hill though , I always leave it in gear if its parked on a slope . So no feedback in that respect .

  6. They did pretty much nothing but split the grill in half and stick an arrowhead in the middle. Not even the wheels are new. I know that's what we were to expect, but it still irritates me. The Pontiac design heratage is being muddied up. The Commodore is a good looking car, it's just not Pontiac.

And sprinkled in a few HSV parts :) The 19" clubsport wheels and HSV brakes , the scoops on the hood are operational .

  7. On my Aunts 07 Caddy DTS , all of the interior lighting are aimed white LED's from various points of the inside . It looks VERY cool . I would imagine Caddy will be doing this to all their models . In the DTS they even got rid of the ugly out of place Amber LCD displays in the radio ect ect . All the LCD read outs in her car are lit in white background , black numerals to match the white LED dash ligthing .
