  1. its the same old dilemma. what do you do to top a winner. the car is truly a tuff act to follow and you have to do something to attract more buyers. so, you unveil the SRT, the special edition, etc. i think the color is tops! the interior is pretty nice as well. this will probably never be an AWD vehicle, though.
  2. Now thats interesting, I want to play because I dont understand it by looking at it, and thats just the kind of thing to stimulate me. Maybe a rotary ? What the heck is going on in this town ?

    We need a revolutionary idea.

a previous poster wisely called this thing smoke and mirrors.
smoke and mirrors would be a compliment.
    from the site:
CEM Engine has the potential to become one of the first self-lubricating, air-cooled, multi-fuel, four-stroke cycle engines to deliver two horsepower/pound..
anyone remember the "dale". 70MPG 3 wheeled car. if i remember correctly it was being promoted by a crossdressing man. anyway this site is looking for investors. WATCH OUT, this is an official NEST EGG ALERT! your hard earned bucks and kids inheiritence could be pissed away.
  3. i own a business in fort wayne. usually visit the market once or twice a year. for the last 3 years there has been some serious growth down there but no one could ever give me a concrete reason as to why. businesses moving in, housing being built, big retailers and so on. so, i am not surprised that this is happening. it just makes me sorry for michigan (where the bulk of our business is). michigan is so mis-managed. it just cannot cut a break.
  4. never really "owned" a buick. had two as company cars. a loaded X car and an 80 regal. owned some olds, chevys, gmc's, still have a pontiac and a caddy. olds was a good brand. lots of innovations. drove an aurora V-8 when i was looking for a sedan. hate to say it but i wasn't that impressed. good car but i didn't like the noise level or the way it took the bumps on these crappy michigan roads. give that car buick's quiet tuning and rework the ride and you get, ah, the lucerne, as a matter of fact.
  5. The ones that everyone's seeing are probably the pre production prototypes they've been using for the ride and drive....I know they've started shipping them in the last day or so but as far as I know none of the dealers have one

well, the one i saw in livonia had a regular plate and no "nao" or any other gm stickers on it.
here in the motor city, when "gm" drives one of their cars around it has the manufacturer plate on it.
  6. Today I drove a lucerne CX and CXS in a comparason test to the Lexus ES 330 (I think)  The CXS is nothing short of impressive...both the rear and front were very roomy and the car handled awesome on the course they had set out....I'm really looking forward to this now... B)  B)

    yeah!!!
    where is your store, sir?
  7. at 39,430 the only thing i didn't go with is the block heater. i think the H K stereo is part of a package, rather than an option. but why put in something like that without 5.1 surround (which a car environment is so well suited for). wonder how much "water" is in the pricing?
  8.   Their entire marketing campaign is swaddled in HEMI.  At $3 a gallon, I am not sure HEMI is the way to go.

where are you at? is gas still that high where you are? if so, i am sorry. here in michigan we're paying about $2.30 for regular no lead (which is what the mopar burns).
sad part is when you add a markup to the wholesale price we should be at about 2.19. when you look at the glut of oil and the overstock of refined gas, in texas, we should be paying a buck something.
