Toyota debuted the completely redesigned 2013 RAV4 at the 2012 LA Auto Show, marking the fifth generation of their best-selling compact SUV. The new RAV4 shed the polarizing rear-mounted spare tire and exterior-hinged tailgate of the previous generation in favor of a cleaner, more car-like design.
