The 2011 Chrysler 300 represented a ground-up redesign of the LX/LD platform, bringing sharper exterior styling, a more refined interior, and a choice of a 292-horsepower 3.6L Pentastar V6 or a 363-horsepower 5.7L Hemi V8. The V6 was paired with a new 8-speed automatic transmission for improved efficiency, while both powertrains were available with rear-wheel drive and an optional all-wheel drive system.
