  3. Just went and saw the new Tahoe. I like it a lot, but I think that the Yukon looks better person the sides of the Tahoe are too plain and the tailgate looks arkward but overall it is nice much better then the last model.

  5. I love the rear of the BLS if the CTS rear looked that I would total buy one. The front needs a little work but it's okay.
  6. I don't believe in bailouts. They should be an absolute last resort. GM is not going to go bankrupt anytime soon, they have way to many assits to do that. I do believe that the Gov't needs to level the playing field to be able to compete in a free trade world. The Gov't needs to subsidized health care not pick up the whole tab just a part. Health care is a huge problem not just for GM and Ford. The UAW needs to enter a new phase were it is going to help and not hinder, were it can work and be just as competitive as the non-union foreigns. There are too many politicians in the back pocket of the health care industry thats why there is not a national health care system. In a free trade market you have to make offer a company something good for them to stay there and sadly the U.S. is not doing it. Just to let you know I am not a Bush fan or supporter.

    Space vs. Style

http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...E/60123003/1041 GM needs no compromise vehicles.

  10. I get tired of people always dumping on people in California. I live in San Jose just south of San Francisco and not everyone here are tree hugging hippies that drive Prius'. I hardly ever see those ugly things anyways the point is that GM has a perception problem. There alot of my friends that love GM products. One of my friends has 96 GMC Jimmy, another a '01 Silverado. My friends dad bought a Ford and hated it so he bought another Silverado and all his kids drive Chevys. Most people who drive GM's love them but you have to get them to drive them. Most people don't know that there Prius' won't get the gas millage that they claim they drive cause they stand out and make a statement. That is what GM cars need to do in future need to make a statement that you are well off and educated and that you drive the best car money can buy. right now they stand for people who are not that well educated are Neo-conservative Bush lovers and until that "Perception" changes GM will never be sucessful. Thats why there aren't that many GM's on west coast.
  11. The Problem is that GM's cars are much better than the predecessors and are equal too the their competitors, but not home runs. In the future every new car has to be a home run or GM stands no chnace of getting profitable. GM also has a marketing problem their need to get the message across that their cars a competitive. GM needs to stop the fire sales as long as they keep offring these incentives at this pace the buying public is never going to think of GM as serious competitors. GM need to do a better job of markting I think that if they have better marketing strategies it would with sells in the near future and might help them get back to profitablity. In regards to Rick Wagoner I am giving him the benfit of the doubt but, he needs to step and show that he is the right man for the job. He needs to come and say the GM will be profitable in however many years and if we are not I will resign. I think his critics are seeing that he is not willing to do whatever it takes to fix GM. He needs to make it clear that GM will be become great again. Until he believes it( ( I believe that he doesn't have the leadership or ego to beleive in it.) the rest of of the world won't believe. He doesn't show the same leadership quality as Lutz, Iaccoa or Henry Ford II. Wagoner needs to the "Six Men who Built the Modern Auto Industry.
