I have spent some time looking for a list of the upcoming GM products (2012, 2013, 2014, etc), but have found nothing on the web. I know they have changed a fair amount in the past year and was hoping to find a comprehensive list of what is next. There are many pre-bankruptcy and a few 2009 post bankruptcy, but none within the past 3 months.

Does anybody know where to find one?

Life has been extra busy for me lately both good and bad. I think this is my one weekend to post and read like crazy until I atleast finish with my Masters degree.

I take the diesel in a 4-door and trade in my Tahoe.

So what did you end up doing with it?

I loved and miss my old Cobalt. Never a problem and always got 38+ mpg. I hope you are still enjoying it.

Wow, that is beautiful. A late congrats to you. If it is anything like my Tahoe, you will never stop enjoying it and have a VERY hard time going back to a traditional car (except for weekend play and commuter style).

This car was bought to teach my daughters how to drive in however . . .

Marie (named after her first and original owner) was a rare find. In 1984 Grandma Marie's (not mine) 1968 Chevy was rusting out and was in need of many repairs. She drove to the local Chevrolet Dealer with Grandpa to get a new Chevrolet only to find ones that had more luxury features than she wanted to deal with, so she ordered Marie just the way she wanted her; 4-cyl. (Iron Duke), 4 speed manual, Air Conditioning and a rear defroster. Over the next 20 years Marie was driven 259k miles without a single major part replacement, including her clutch plate, engine, starter, steering rack, etc. Her first alternator replacement was at 255k miles. About a year ago Grandma Marie, God Bless her soul, passed away. The family decided to put Marie up for sale at the beginning of September 2010. I was the the first to respond and the first to see her. I fell in love the minute I saw her and was ready to offer money without even driving it. The interior looks like it has 60k miles on it, not 260k, with not a single rip or cracked dash to be seen.

This car was bought to teach my daughters how to drive, however I have fallen so much in love with her, I now drive her to work everyday and intend on doing such for a while. My wife recently left me for a guy old enough to be her Father, but it's not all bad as I got something that I could love more than her anyways; Marie, my 1984 Celebrity.

I will post pictures when the weather is good enough for me to take them (yes, I live in Oregon and the fall rain has already started).

I don't recall ever seeing a sales press release where the year over year % change per selling day wasn't even mentioned.

I can't believe that even with all the negative press, Toyota still managed to post a 35.3% increase to GM's 15.9%.

I do wonder how much of that was fleet. Our local Enterprise has a fair number of new toyotas, which is not something that was common in the past. GM products, on the other hand, are become more rare on Enterprise lots.

Thinking about picking up a used Envoy - only if it can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back with the tailgate closed or even sticking out through the glass hatch. Do you know if the Envoy can swallow that? Can you fit something 4 foot wide in the back? Or does anybody have a pic of an Envoy with lumber in the back? Maybe from a GM press pic?

My 94 Blazer took me for a ride this morning on RT18 when the front breakline gave out and needed to get towed home. Thinking about getting rid of the Blazer and my 2006 Malibu MAXX SS for a used Envoy. Rather an Avalanche or Tahoe but can't really afford the price on a low mileage truck like the Envoy is. If the Envoy can do what I need it to around the house (like have room for plywood/sheetrock and other things then it could be a good match.

The gas mileage on my Tahoe is 1 mpg less than I got with my Bravada. I also get to run alternative fuel in the Tahoe which allows me to buy it for 25% plus get an additional $0.50 tax credit per gallon. Before you buy, try both (Tahoe & Blazer) and use the electronic gas mileage tracker to see what each gets. I also understand, from the service guys at the Chevy dealer, that the Tahoe has less issues than the Blazers.

So many throughout my childhood made big impressions.

1980 datsun 210 helped me realize what junk the Japanese brand lines really make. As a kid it was pure torture when my parents picked this as our road trip vehicle because it broke down frequently and was the most uncomfortable vehicle I have ever travelled in.

1984 Ford Thunderbird Elan with a 302, my uncle's, was the first car that caught my attention due to styling. I loved driving this car especially on the open road. To bad the electronic gremlins took over at 60k.

1998 Intrigue was my first newer GM product that made me realize GM was going to make a come back someday, though it has taken longer than I expected. Prior to the Intrigue we were a Volvo family. Only 1 issue in over 90k miles. We traded it in because it smelled of sour milk (kids) and I really wanted an Alero GL2.

Great truck. I have the same problem. Now that I have my GMT, I couldn't imagine driving anything else after years of focusing on "cars".

I wonder when GM will announce it.

Congrats. Finding someone you want to spend your entire life with isn't easy but when that person does come along is sure is amazing.

I hope everyone here has an amazing 2010. I hope 2010 is the year GM can change minds and continue to bring out class leading products.

My wife and I were able to take one for a lengthy drive and I found the 2010 LaCrosse to be the most comfortable car I have ever driven. It seemed the perfect car for I-5 or other long interstates. Our friends 2009 acura tl is MUCh noisier, seems to jolt you around more and has more confusing controls.

How do you think it compares to cars twice the price when it comes to highway cruising?

Never going to happen. At least not in our lifetimes.

I miss my Christmas. The wife and our boys and I are at the in-laws in Calgary for the holidays and it's the same stress for the same reasons. How I would love to be at home, sitting with my wife next to the lit tree, sipping warm cider and watching one of many of my favorite traditional Christmas shows... nope, instead we end up here, keeping each other from snapping at her OCD suffering, eccentric, over-bearing mother. We remind each other that it's Christmas; that we're happy to be here for every one else in the family.

On a good note, my brother just had a baby boy on the 23rd, the same birth date as my eldest sister. My wife celebrated her birthday today, the 24th. The future holiday weeks are going to be extremely fun in our family.

I'm sorry your Christmas is so stressful. I've been there / done that. It will get better as you get older and they start to realize you are adults worthy of the same respect and consideration they give their friends.

This is like an early Christmas present, maybe the best one I will get this year. Now if only a dozen or so more articles like this could come out in the next couple of weeks showing the true toyota.

1. I got a job that pays me enough for us to get a second home.

2. We got renters for our first home before we even closed on our second.

3. My new job comes with free Mochas, Lattes, Steamers, etc. because I have the "sweetest" Boss out there.

4. Our income for 2009 will be higher than we have ever seen it. 2010 looks to be even better.

5. I got accepted into Grad School

6. After 16 years of marriage, I was finally able to talk my wife into getting a decent 2nd car (our 2005 Maxx LT)

7. We moved so my daughters could go to an art based middle school and so far both are doing great. Straights A's and many new friends.

8. We won $100 in food gift cards at my company Christmas party and a fruit basket.

9. My Mother-in-Law got engaged last month.

10. We got all new furniture for our living room and dining room when we bought our new home.

11. My oldest daughter had her first boyfriend and they didn't even hug, let alone hold hands or kiss.

12. My wife got her first black evening dress at Nordstroms which was used for our free tickets to the Wine and Food Festival here in Portland (normally $90 each - thank you Buick!).

Though we have had trials along the way, 2009 has been a good year overall.

Bob, my 2004 Tahoe, turned 100,000 in 2009. He went from averaging 1500-2000 miles per month down to 600 miles per month, since we moved to the city and bought Harold the Magical Unicorn (my wife's Malibu Maxx).

Loved Oldsmobile. Especially the Alero and Intrigue.
