  1. This is definitely one of the reasons I love GM.
  2. lol....sure....and a wood frame and hang on the wall...well said.
  3. I like that, Newbiewar...frame it.
  4. What luxury, prestige automobile from overseas was also manufactured in the United States from 1926 -1931?
  5. balthazar, that is interesting about actual involvement of family members. I would love to see Duesenberg revived.
  6. Also, when growing up, my Dad dabbled at first with Chrylser cars, and then made a switch to GM and continued to buy a string of them over the years. I remember the GM dealership and it's cars always seemed a bit more modern, fresh, with the times, whereas the competition was a little dowdy. So I got the GM bug early and it really never left, even in GM's darkest days. I have owned countless GM models and enjoyed each and every one of them.
  7. I am a GM fan because of the following: 1. Rich Heritage 2. Innovation upon Innovation 3. Design Leader in the 50s, 60s. 70s 4. Harley Earl, designer icon 5. Bill Mitchell, designer icon 6. Corvette 7. Cadillac 8. Small Block V8s 9. Historically and Culturally American. 10. Solstice/Sky/Lutz & the reawakening of the giant
  8. GMI......I like your understatement. You make backseat sex kind of classy. :)
  9. Let's say everything is true in this comparison test, just pretend for a moment. Pontiac has nothing to be ashamed of....this is a great car for just being newly introduced, very quickly on the market and a first attempt at this sort of car.. It will get more and more refined as time goes on. And it may come down to personal peference as to the feel people prefer in their sports cars. Some will like the MX-5s and some will like the Solstice. Pontiac should be very proud of this car.
  10. Razor, you got me, about the Matador front seats.....you got me so curious. What was unique about them? Did they swivel?...recline?.....electric massager?lol.
  11. Full sized Buicks have always had entry level models. This is not new. Of course I gravitate to the top end luxury versions...but not all Buicks were that way. Some were downright humble.

  13. You've Really Never Seen a Hyundai like This Before http://www.auto123.com/en/info/news/protot...spy?artid=49133 "You've never seen a Hyundai like this before." As often as quoting a tagline for a commercial is cliché in the world of journalism, I couldn't resist adding this one, simply because I - or you, for that matter - really haven't seen a Hyundai like this before. The Accent SR Concept adds a whole new dimension to the recently updated Accent, and justifiably has been causing commotion in Frankfurt and across the world. It should make Hyundai rather proud. 14. At first I thought the bumper had been in an accident, then I realized, no that's the way they meant it. This prototype seems weak visually. I still think GM should resurrect this great name as a super luxury car under the umbrella of Cadillac.
  15. It's way too close. The Chinese are copycats. There is even a Chinese vehicle named Aurora. There are countless other examples.
  16. Not really sure. It was simply an ariticle by Autoweek on the introduction. It's a mystery to me. Not wanting two threads was mentioned, but it was the one and only posting about Autoweek and the introduction of the Tahoe.
  17. Sixty8, you got it. It was an attempt to resurrect the Duesenberg...it was built on a Cadillac chassis.
  18. What car is this?
  19. I agree razor about the Corvette....it really needs to go in another direction with the the wrap over rear glass. It would be nice to see a modern interpretation of the classic sail panels.
  20. I love the Vista Cruiser one.
  21. I wonder if this an old Isuzu body....I get a definite Isuzu vibe now.
  22. I heard these Nashes actually had a folding out bed option.
  23. Is there a car that is condusive to having good meaningful sex?....past or present. What would be your top car for sex or what would be right at the bottom?
  24. I have heard that they sometimes enjoy this sort of thing. They can be quite playful.
