So. on monday I had the afternoon off and was running around town trying to get some stuff done. I am taking a couple classes up at NDSU this fall so i ran up to get everything paid up and ready to go. I get all of it done quickly as I am parked illegally in a parking lot not far from the union. I hop in the Impala and back out of my spot, put it in drive and am about to head forward just as a professor in a brand new lexus ES backs right into my door...............went through the whole reporting thing and went to go get an estimate.......$1300, and her insurance company doesn't even know if they are going to pay for it because it was a parking lot accident. GRRRRRRRR. I'm goign to be REALLy pissed if i end up having to pay anything for that lady running into me. I mean seriosly i think the Impala is getting sick of being ran into.....this is accident numero 4. The city of fargo has not been good to this car at all and I have only been driving in 1 of the accidents.....this one.

Anyway im going to end this rant now. I'll try to get a couple picks up tomorrow.

"Not covered because its a parking lot accident"? That's a load of crap. They need to cover it regardless.

And if this is your 4th accident, we're tied. :)

Sorry to hear it and hope everything works out and it gets fixed good as new! Keep us updated...

*whew* I just got in. I've been threading 20 old tires through a rope and draping it around my truck. This is crazy! :(

I never got a chance to take any pics of the car after the wreck, but I already got paid by her insurance company and the car is back to normal. They ended up paying for 85% (they try'd to give me 70%, until i damn near made the lady cry over the phone) of the damages, which amounted to about 1225 based on the estimate that they came up with. I took it up to a body shop just across the border into Canada. They do great work and are very reasonable. Ended up costing me 1100 canadian to get it fixed, and I didn't have t pay any tax on it, so i ended up pocketing about 200 bucks through the whole deal.
