Today was a good day

Recommended Posts

... didn't even have to use my A.K.

Okay seriously. We stopped by at Marcia's Grandmother's house and when we were leaving Sofia blew a kiss to Gram in that cute two-year-old-angel kind of way. Gram said she reminded her of the girl (back in the day) who used to blow a kiss at the end of some variety show right after she sang the "See the USA in your Chevrolet".

Call me crazy but that made my day. Gram & Gramps (who is now in a home due to his Altzheimer's :( ) have owned several cars from Chevrolet over the years. As a matter of fact Gram says besides the 1996 Grand Marquis and two late 50s Plymouths they always had Chevrolets. Several Biscaynes/Impalas and then a whole string of Monte Carlos. BTW: Gram learned to drive on a late 30s Packard with 3-on-the-tree.

So anyway then later in the day I get my Monte Carlo poster from Cort (Knightfan) with his '87 LS pictured. :D

And as if that was not cool enough also in the mail was a super cool package from MightyMouse. NOt just one but two Camaro concept posters (one already hanging up on my wall) a very cool G6 RHT brochure and a GTO-R poster.

Thanks again guys.

This is what makes C&G not the community that we are, but the FAMILY that we are.

Very cool 68...MightyMouse is a very cool person to send those along and Cort....well I can't say enough about him....such a class act.

Very true Josh.

This site is the greatest outlet for my GM/car obsession and RWD-OCD since High School Study hall.

Since we're on the topic of sharing, here's a neat link that I got from a new-found buddy at Buick-59.com.

Make sure to check out the custom Camino, Camino.

G6 RHD poster? *is intrigued* Hmm... really?

Why don't I get Pontiac posters? I could use some, you know... only one out of my four walls are dedicated to Pontiac. I'm sure the non-Pontiac posters would be quite alright in my den on the 2.5 walls not taken up by Jeff Gordon stuff... They might bitch and moan at first, but they'll get use to it. :P Actually, I'd really like a poster of a 240SX... 8)

Damnit, why don't people send me stuff?!?!? (Chris excluded) :CG_all:

*Edit* When did "B)" change?

Thanks GM1... I knew it was one of the girls Adam Sandler mentions in the Khanuka (sp.?) song. Dinah Shore. Yes. :)

I forget is Ebenizer Scrooge Jewish? I know he's in the song too. :P
