2018 Holden Commodore Side Profile City Motion

The 2018 Holden Commodore sweeps past a modern city skyline in a dynamic side profile shot, showing off its aerodynamic fastback silhouette and flush door handles. Built on the GM Epsilon II platform shared with the Opel Insignia, the new Commodore marks a shift to front-wheel-drive architecture for the Australian icon.

There is a Jagurarish element to this, and I love the sculpted side panels of the car.

the slab sided look of the late sixties and early 1970's was both good and bad IMHO....cars with detailing on the side really please me.

A few examples of the 1960's side detailing that worked well, this time in terms of the Plymouth GTX...

Not the best picture of it by any means, but some of the side detailing is what I like about the Acura and Lexus entry level designs.

The side profile of this car just nails it as well as anything, IMHO...
