  1. With stricter CAFE standards just around the corner, Chrysler is looking at giving their Pentastar V6 range some big changes. Automotive News has learned from sources about a new plan called Pentastar Upgrade - or PUG. PUG will feature such improvements as direct injection, turbocharging, and other technologies to bring more power and better fuel economy. Fiat's MultiAir variable valve timing technology will remain. Now the first of these updated engines could arrive in the 2015 Grand Cherokee in the guise of a 3.6L V6.
