  1. 50,000 vehicles now at 25% ice and 75% electric, but still the same price $2.98 Billion dollars at an average price of $59,600. But of course, the USPS had agreed that changes would be billed as an extra cost that our FEDs gave the USPS so an undefined bloated costs compared to readily available commercial electric vans. USPS Places Order for 50,000 Next Generation Delivery Vehicles; 10,019 To Be Electric - Newsroom - About.usps.com Then the updated contract that USPS would buy now up to 165,000 of these weird looking delivery vans. Sadly we could have saved billions if they bought the electric vans from Ford, GM, Mercedes, but nope got to waste tax payer money on paying a military contractor that is clueless about commercial autos and so they start to build another inefficient ICE truck, but that is still moving forward but only as a 25% of the contract and still way more expensive than if they bought from the Detroit or German auto companies, instead OshKosh Military built an electric Platypus mail delivery van that only gets 79 miles of range when in comparison to commercially available electric vans. The Ford e-transit gets 159 Miles at an average transaction price of $46,200. The GM BrightDrop electric van gets 250 miles of range at an average transaction price of $62,725 but with a much better range and is double the size. This being the BrightDrop 600, the smaller 400 is just now going into production that would compete with the Ford e-transit and is supposed to have a starting price around $45,000 The Mercedes electric version gets 248 miles at an average transaction price of $42,189. All cheaper than the stupid contract with a defense contractor that has never build a commercial product that competes with others. The Idiot45 administration should have kept it to existing auto companies and not allowed themselves to be swayed by military folks pushing to let them build the mail delivery van of the future.
  2. This is an interesting read Yes, It ‘Looks Like a Duck,’ but Carriers Like the New Mail Truck
  3. Have to laugh at this review as the things they mention that all other auto companies need to steel has already been done by Kia and Genesis. This is just a luxury level above Kia and below Genesis. 7 Features On The 2026 Ioniq 9 That Other SUVs Need To Steal
  4. I just hope that GM will stick with it long term rather than short term till they get a few wins and use it to advertise and then kill it off. Their past track record leaves much to be desired when it comes to commercial racing.
  5. Happy Thanksgiving to all, wishing you a relaxing extended weekend.

  8. D. B. Cooper who hijacked a flight that left out of Seatac for money and then jumped out of the plan somewhere over the Columbia river. Most believe he died and over the decades since, money has been found in various places in the muddy banks of the Columbia river that serial numbers matched to the batch of money given to him by the FBI. D. B. Cooper - Wikipedia OK, Please post a current photo so we can determine these good looks!
  9. Since the late 1950's most presidents have shared their tax returns for the last few years and education information allowing the public to view if they are competent and deemed educated enough to handle the job of President. Idiot 47 / 45 has refused to allow anything to be reviewed about his life and I would have to say this is probably based on his own criminal nature, lawsuits lost that he still tries to overturn and his blatant disregard for our laws, constitution, etc. Most voters have not ever paid attention to the education validation and tax returns, but with Idiot he has brought this on himself by trying to hid everything behind lawyers who many have lost their ability to be a lawyer due to lying for him. Why would anyone risk their own integrity for such a buffoon is beyond me, one can only hope that he truly goes 6 feet under asap as I think many can then better deal with the idiot vp he choose. Nice, Nice self-portrait olds Sarcasm, yes I know our famous PNW person.
  10. I truly hope this is true, it seems to be and of course many GOP house and Senate members have stated they are not wanting to change IRA since it would affect Billions their states have given to auto companies to build plants for the EV industry in their states. Why Biden’s $7.5B electric vehicle charger push is probably safe from Trump - POLITICO This is a good read on EVs The days of costly EV battery replacements are numbered
  11. Good read, excellent explanation of the windshield frit. 12. IDIOT 47 just announced on his Stupid social media site that on his first day in office he will sign a presidential directive to charge Canada and Mexico a 25% tariff on all products coming into the U.S. Trump's Tariffs Will Likely Hit Prices in These Seven Industries Consider getting stuff now that can last on the shelf for these industries: Automobiles and Automotive parts Agricultural Products Electronics Mineral fuels and oils Plastics and Plastic Products Machinery and Industrial Equipment Aluminum and Steel Products So if your a foodie who enjoys cooking, I looked up, consider getting ziploc freezer bags, aluminum foil, cooking utensils, etc. get ready for a 25% increase in cost. Reynolds Aluminum company has already said that they will pass along the full 25% tariff cost to the consumer affective the week the tariff goes into effect.
  13. My whole family has stopped going to Starbucks except when on a road trip as they know what they will get, due to the cost here, it is crazy to spend the kind of money they are asking for drinks when you can make it at home for such a fraction. Example is a venti black coffee is $7 here in Seattle, my wife makes her own blend at home and has it for 70 cents. No reason to go to Starbucks and give them so much money.

  16. Love this Green Ford Torino, awesome car and reminds me of the Clint Eastwood movie about the car. The POP has been connected with many pedophiles during his control of the church, and he refused to do anything about it. One Pop that can rot in hell for the abuse against kids. Everyone has a right to believe or not in divine deities, but for me, after decades of studying, have come to believe they do not exist and was created by man to control man. If 3,000 years ago some advanced race visited our planet, they would have found us to be primitive to a point that we would have seen them as deities, but in this regard, I feel we have allowed religion to ruin life for many due to manipulation of many by the few that crave power to control. We are entering interesting times with ignorant people being given positions of power by a Narcissist that hates democracy, freedom and the love of humanity. I truly hope I end up wrong but am seeing too much of the fleecing of the American taxpayer by those that want to kill off government agencies to privatize the services at a higher cost to all, pushing us into a caste system again. Funny that Texas wants to not have anything to do with illegals in their state, but now will happily rent out 1,400 acres near Austin Texas to house illegals till they can be processed and sent back home. Fleecing of America!!! Texas agency buys ranch for Trump's border wall, mass deportation Trump offered 1,400 acres by Texas official for deportation End of line... 18. After years of Body building, PowerLifting from the Age of 12 and Slalom racing from the age of 5 here in the PNW, my body finally caused my right meniscus pad to rip in two, if it was a partial tear in the front where the blood vessels are, it could have healed on its own taking it easy for a year, sadly the full tear does not heal in the back and causes pressure on the nerves causing my leg to fail due to extreme pain when I pinch the nerve. The doctor here popped my knee apart, went in with orthoscopic tools and stitched up the meniscus pad and then popped my knee back together. Up and moving around in small stints as I Ice and let the swelling go down, 7 days of minimal movement to allow everything including the two access points to heal up. Hardest ever as I am such an active person, this sitting is driving me nuts. Still sleeping allot, but been ages since I slept like this, so probably good for the whole body and mind. From a usual 5 to 6 hours of sleep a day to about 12hrs now, but will probably end back up to my normal once things heal. OUCH, this sucks as it happened here in Washington. Good thing the trucker has insurance. Lamborghini Diablo Falls Off Truck During Failed Delivery
  19. Still alive, sleeping allot, taking my pain meds and watching a little TV when not sleeping. Sorry I did not get to posting a story on the Huge Kia reveal at the LA Auto Show or the Reveal on the Hyundai Ioniq 9. Will tey to get caught up once I am not sleeping so much. Right now only on my cell phone.
  20. Based on treasury bonds, I suspect a solid recession starting next year. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/savingandinvesting/what-s-behind-the-shocking-sudden-rise-in-interest-rates-over-the-past-few-weeks/ar-AA1ulBxL?ocid=BingHp01&cvid=0f0f94dbd45c4f50e28c4da964b477a6&ei=67
  21. Very interesting, seems new funny money is on the way. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/goodbye-to-these-bills-target-announces-it-will-not-accept-these-dollars-starting-in-december/ar-AA1umriY?ocid=BingHp01&cvid=0f0f94dbd45c4f50e28c4da964b477a6&ei=25 quote: Alongside these new security measures, the Federal Reserve plans to release updated designs for the $5, $20, $50, and $100 bills in the coming years. The updated $50 bill will debut in 2028, the $20 bill in 2030, the $5 bill between 2032 and 2035, and the $100 bill between 2034 and 2038.
  22. So question, being 800V, I know the Kia will charge faster than anything else out there when using DC fast chargers. 11kW Level 2 home charging is great as that is what my EV9 has and roughly 4 to 6 hours later the auto is fully charged. EV3 is supposed to have 300 miles, is that enough for you to consider the EV3 and the style in the video above, would it be of interest to you if priced starting at $30,000 FWD or $32,500 AWD with a 280 mile range. Just interested in what your thoughts are as we move forward as companies that have built EV's cannot at this point stop and not produce them when they are engineered and being built for markets. Is the EV3 a possible contender knowing that a new Chevrolet BOLT is coming? Totally agree, dates are just dates, @Robert Hall is not the narcissist Musk is, but a cool friendly guy, one of the C&G family!
  23. Everything I have read including on the Korean Auto websites tend to say 2025 as a 2026 model. You can watch the reveal here on the 21st. KIA AMERICA TO UNVEIL FIVE NEW VEHICLES AT UPCOMING LOS ANGELES AUTO SHOW Narcissistic Musk has stated he is fine with Trump killing IRA, the problem is the Billions and Billions committed to battery plants that are in solid RED States that the house and senate members have now come out and said that IRA CANNOT be killed as it will cost the states billions and thousands of jobs. Trump won on economy lies and being the only person who could fix manufacturing in the US. Kia has already scaled back the production of their hottest EV9 as they fear the loss of the IRA rebate on day one if Trump follows through and via President Order kills IRA. I suspect he is going to face major backlash over this, and it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Democrats and other groups are also demanding that if he kills IRA, they want the Approximately $650 billion in subsidies paid to the oil companies to be killed off also. Very interesting times we are in. Agree that I think the Bolt and EV3 will go on sales very close to each other in 2025 as 2026 models. I also agree that if Chevrolet does not do a better style job on the BOLT, they will lose out to the EV3. Bigger issue is that the BOLT is going to need to be more than FWD. EV3 will be available in FWD and AWD according to Kia as they are selling it in other markets. As such, Chevrolet is going to have to step up their game in Style and options of drive train.
  24. Today Kia will show off at the LA auto show their EV3 compact with mid size interior space, selling out in Europe and Asia where it has been released, seems this $30,000 EV might be the home run hit people are looking for with 300 miles of range. Chevrolet needs to get the Ultium BOLT out ASAP, otherwise EV3 will eat their lunch I think.
