  1. No one ahead of me on the road, but a person waits until I'm "right there" to pull out from a side road in front of me, then drives 5-10 mph under the limit on a clear day, causing traffic to bunch up behind me. And it only happens when I need to be somewhere. Sigh.

Happens to me all the time around here. Happened to me tonight on my way to the movies...

  2. Dude should have little lights behind his bugshield, so the bulldog glows devilish red at night out there on the lonely highway. That would surely make Peterbilts get over and let him pass.

From what I heard Macks don't have enough $h! to pass ANYTHING so therefore the Peterbilt would have to LET him pass! :neenerneener:

  3. Where? I have been looking for something not breaded in wheat flour.

I remember Mrs. Pauls and Van De Camps. Mrs. Pauls used to taste quite good.

Ive got a box in the freezer too that im starting to get hungry for lol!

  4. I poked around and came up with this:

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1218092152998

It's got four cores, which is more than you'll need anyways, and an nVidia GT220 which probably should exceed your needs for a while. Also, there's a 750GB hard drive and a media card reader for digital camera cards.

Cnet also reviewed this one, and they've said it's a cut above a good chunk of the competition, and for the price, I'd say it's a winner. :)

Wow that thing is a beast! Never heard of them though are they any good?

  5. a friend with an old 939 athlon64 has the 4350 pretty sure and was playing CnC...3? on a ~17" monitor pretty well..

the radeon 4830, 4850 and 4870's are quite a bargain... i bought a 4770 before the 4850s broke the ~120 ish range... it's quiet, powerful, and uses less power than the 4800 series.

buy now advantages....obvious, you'll have the pc there.

if you wait.... windows 7 will all ready be on it, no hassle upgrading it, prices will only fall....

what's your budget and what do you plan to do with it?

This is true. My budget for the tower is $1000.00 Like I said though I can only get it at best buy though which kinda sucks, but at least I can get a new one. Well all I plan to do on it is play trucking games like 18 Wheels Of Steel, Internet and, typing up letters and things like that. My needs arent to demanding I guess.

  6. Well Im only looking at Best Buy because they are offering no interest for 18 months and a free upgrade to Windows 7. Thats really the only way I can get one right now. I bought a Samsung LCD Monitor today, but couldn't buy the tower because that one up there is available online only and thats the one Ive been eyeing up lol. My gaming needs arent to high right now, and in the future I'll probably just upgrade it if I have to. I would have done it with this computer, but like you said I would have had to upgrade the power supply, and buy the time I do that I can still only do so much to everything else so I figured it wasnt worth it.

  7. Well Im going to get a new computer and I have a couple questions to ask anyone who knows. I want to know if this graphics card and Processor is any good for playing the newest PC games out there?

    Video Card:

    ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics

With 512MB dedicated video memory and up to 3579MB total video memory as allocated by Windows Vista. DirectX 10 support and DVI and HDMI outputs. High-definition audio delivers clear sound.

    Processor:

    AMD Phenom™ II X4 910* quad-core processor

Multicore processing for extreme multitasking performance, Cool'n'Quiet™ 2.0 technology for efficient energy usage and HyperTransport™ 3.0 technology improve 3D graphics performance.

  8. You went expecting to see a somber crowd? Classic Poncho fans have ignored the new offerings of their favorite GM division for years. The new GTO was a flop in their eyes, the Solstice was too small for their daily needs, and the G8 was 'too little, too late' (the rest - G5, G6, Vibe, Torrent weren't worth their time). At a small all-GM show I attended in April, I overheard a bunch of men around a '38 Pontiac sedan talk about the end of Pontiac, but they weren't all that sad (they were saying 'who's next?'). I read both Pontiac Enthusiast and High Performance Pontiac magazines and many classic Poncho fans/owners have shunned the brand once 'corporate' engines took over (geez, what year was that, 1979 or 1981?). The brand will never be dead as long as the classic Poncho owners keep their cars alive. BTW hyperv6, I'm not singling you out, just commenting on the topic.

Glad to hear you took an award. What Pontiac do you own?

I don't understand why the new GTO was such a flop? I really like the look of it, and I liked the engine choices too. As far as comared to the old I would prefer the new simply because of the newer engines, and suspension.
