No...I'm pretty sure no one would ask anybody to go an buy a carfax report for them. I was just asking if anyone happened to currently have (1 month) unlimited reports if they would mind checking. If I happened to have it, I certainly wouldn't have a problem doing it...I think I did at least once when I had the reports.
I don't see anything wrong with that. $30.00 is a rip off for just one report.

I'm not as impressed. With the ability to disperse the battery weight and power any wheel, I'm disappointed that its FWD. The Volt, IMHO, needs to be more akin to the ideas Tesla motors has, and not a EpII with batteries.
With the whole cost issue, I fear the Volt will not lead to a craze. The idea of electric cars is like public transportation... we're all for other people using it.
Oddly, as someone who loved his electric golf cart as a kid, I'd love to have a modern, quicker version. The Volt just doesn't thrill me, however.
I'll tell you what. I rode in a buddy's dads Polaris Razr today (Like a Yamaha Rhino), and I think we should be able to license them to drive on the road. The thing is 800cc Fuel Injected, and you can even get a windshield or cab for it. The thing will go up to 70MPH, and just think of all the gas you would save.

I was watching a preview of Transformers 2 and I noticed how much I really liked the Volt. I figured I would make a topic and see how many people plan to buy the Volt at some point in time. I think it's a sharp looking car for an electric car, and I will probably eventually buy one once the price eventually gets affordable if it ever does.

Yea Kinda hard for me to still see him surviving with just Buick.

Ali Larter
Oh yea Megan Fox

Maybe he'll pick up Mitsubishi or Mercury.
I was down by that dealer the other day and I didn't notice before, but he also sells Buick. So his lineup will be GMC, Buick, Suburau.

This reminds me of the whole Camaro thing. GM quit making it because it wouldn't sell anymore. So later down the road Ford and Dodge go old school, make new cars and GM decides that if they just put a little effort into it they can have the Camaro back. Now that Dodge is doing this I wonder if GM will get their heads out of their asses. I doubt it they'll just probably obey the government, and make bland cars.

Not my type of thing, but that is a really nice boat!
-
Pretty much. She had a long good list of reasons, as if she had thought it out.
--Have to pay for the boat
--Have to pay to store the boat
--Have to pay to insure the boat
--Have to get something to tow the boat, since she doubts the Buick's ability to handle a boat and trailer on hills
--We'll only be able to get out to the lake a couple weekends a year
Yea I here the same from a lot of guys so don't feel bad. I just can't wait to get married!

This just in
I make more than I thought I did. So the Prius is going to be paid off this summer. But I'm not allowed to buy a boat.

I assume you own a new Impala SS or plan on buying one soon? Didn't think so!
This is a very old car with a FWD V8 that has to have a computer control the power to keep from blowing the 4 speed tranny out at low speeds.
The present car is not anything special. It does not stop very well. It does not turn all that great compard to well tuned cars. It does not go really fast and is just a little quicker than average. The fact is this car does not meet the standards of the SS badge as Lutz sent down with the GMPD division 2 years ago. It is not sold in great numbers and will not be missed by Chevy.
If anyone had half a brain and needed 4 doors the Malibu 3.6 V6 Six Speed is a much better car if you need a back seat and for not much more if you want a V8 the Camaro SS is a much wiser buy.
We are all here because we are GM fans but very very few of use would ever consider buying this car let alone even go out and really buying one. So then how do we expect people who are not GM fans to think about spending this kind of money for a car that is really old and not that great of a performance car in the first place. And if you want to say you just do not have the money to buy own would you really do it as there are much better options out there at this price point.
The LS and LT are 95% of the Impalas they sell to the gray hairs, rental/police fleets and familys looking for a bargin priced car. The loss of this SS is not anything dissapointing.
The fact is the loss of the low selling Cobalt SS sedan is a greater loss but few will lose sleep over that too.
I would rather see them put a 304 HP 3.6 DI into a Malibu with the Six speed than go throught the motions of a lame Impala SS W body for another year.
Just wait I expect GM has better plans for Chevy soon. Note even with the money crunch they are not cutting back too much at GM on Marketing etc. I aausme the lack of product talk is due to the fact till the money problem is handled they will not show their cards.
Expect a lot of marketing for Chevy this summer for the Camaro.
No I don't own one, but my mom has a Monte Carlo SS and I would be as mad if they did this stupid crap to it (even though they just killed it). GM is killing everything unique including this, and it's getting old really fast. I think it's a nice car, and if its anything like the Monte I don't find all that crap you just said to be true. If you have so much to complain about just go buy something else cry baby.

I think NASCAR rules still require it to be a make and model. Those darn rules!
Yea to many rules...

[source: Left Lane News]GM to Issue Additional Shares to Pay Off Debt
A filing with United States securities regulators has revealed that General Motors will issue up to 60 billion additional shares in an attempt to pay of government, bondholder and union debts. The plans would essentially wipe out the holdings of its remaining shareholders - and since the United States government will become the majority shareholder, only the Treasury's approval would be necessary.
I think this will be a mistake. I wish they would just file for bankruptcy already!

Was at the end of an off ramp waiting for teh rotary to clean ro I go go. Some dumbass in a Ryder moving truck (the big ones) "didn't see me" and ran into the car.
I can still remember looking left to wait for traffic clear, and seeing a truck coming way too quickly in the the side mirro and thinking "oh, that's way too fast..." BAM!
They totaled the car, but I fogught the insurance company for two months (while they paid for my Cobalt rental) and got what I wanted for it, and used the money to fix the car. managed to get body panels of the same color from teh junkyard, so even though it hasn't been painted yet, it's not too noticeable.
Also, my family has bad luck with accidents...not nearly as bad as BV's, but bad.
At least you still have the car, and got her all fixed up, and your ok man.

Everything below the LTZ has the "Work Truck" interior.
I don't know, still looks pretty hard to use.
But I do have to say that the Ram's Nav is hard to use too. I have used one before, they haven't changed at all since I drove one.
For that matter, the Toyota nav looks hard to use too! Come on!
My truck looks just like that inside minus the navagation system, and I have no problem with the buttons or controls? The Ram is a really nice truck, the Ram box is a good idea, but I think it makes the bedsides look stupid. I wouldn't want to work on the Ram either to me it looks like the motor is so far under the truck it would be a major pain (Like my Camaro). I like the F-150 alot also, but I can't stand how the guages are set up on it. As for the Tundra its just ugly as a mud fence, and I would be ashamed to be caught dead sitting in it. My truck has the black cloth seats and interior, not the leather and I will say that the only thing I don't care for is the seats. Everything sticks to them, and you need to take a lint roller to them once a week to get everything off. When I get seat covers from GM that problem will be fixed though.

Doesn't suprise me some of the $h! they have to complain about. The Caddy looks way better anyway.
-
I would say that it is expected to see the Silverado in this list. It is nice to see both the Impala and the Malibu on this list.
I just wasn't sure how well they sold anymore. I mean I have one and love it, but that doesn't mean anyone else will lol
-
What the heck happened to it?
-
Surviving as a dealer with just GMC and Subaru would be close to impossible.
Oh crap your right believe it or not I had never even thought about that. They are supposed to be a nice dealership that put no pressure on you when you are dealing with them. I would have went there when I was looking at new trucks, but they didn't have any Sierras that I liked.
