  1. Page 10 in Hemmings said there will be dueling concepts at the NAIAS, the Challenger and the Camaro. Even after all the internet hype and inside info I wasnt convinced, I would still feel better if GM had made an official announcement but I hear maybe after the New Year due to that Canada mess. I dont care about retro, I just want at least the GTOs performance IRS and some sick styling. I really liked the leaked pictures. So it looks like many of us will get our wish soon and maybe GM will get some much needed positive press.
  2. Sounds like this might really happen ! A new Camaro will really change things at GM
  3. I dont care for Toyota and there are no cars to wait for there, dont get me wrong my point was the dealerships hurt GMs cause in this scenario. Most of the dealers I have visited barely know the cars. I think the price will get back to where it has to be and the cats who pay for it are dumb, at 23k they will fly of the Showroom floor. i just hope the Camaro is mass produced. As for the GTO I got mine a 2005 for a bit under sticker. The car is amazing and I think it would have benefited from a decent ad campaign. I know people bash the looks but with 18s I really like the way the new GTO looks and its brutally fast. It grew on me big time. I hope more peop[le give it a shot they wont be sorry.
  4. Im down with that , how about an old Cro Mags song, maybe Hard Times, that would be the day NYHC
  5. I was a dealer today they had three Solstices all black, I was very impressed by the car but made sick by the dealership the sticker was 23 and change but they had a market adjustment on it and the price was 27 and change. The point of the car was to keep cost low thats what we were all so excited for, and now that car sells for closer to 30k than 20 k, and like you said people wonder why they are in jam. They had the GTO in 2004 marked up 3 grand also. I mean I know its a common thing with certain cars like to Z06 and all, but I think it sucks big time. I helped a buddy of mine look for cars a few weeks back, the Gm dealerships treated us like garbage, Toyota acted like we were royalty no fast talking low life finace guys no rude sales people. I would only buy GM but I can see why people quit on them some times.....
  6. Thanks for the response Im excited , i hope its close to the white sketch like i Heard, I hope they make it affordable, in the GTO price range, or less. Price it like the Mustang, Im sure it will blow it away..... CANt WAIT
  7. I dont want anyone to get in trouble but were the Pictures nice?
  8. http://www.autoblog.com/entry/5685815371424560/ It sounded to me like the white sketch this is an interesting link ,,,
  9. This article was interesting. It basically says the writer recieved a picture of the clay model of the new Camaro, cant publish it due to copy right laws. They do however describe it. It sounds like the pictures thats have been out on the internet, new styling with retro cues. so please check out the article on page 53 in Hemmings for Jan.

  12. [quote name='ehaase' date='Nov 24 2005, 09:58 AM'] Many consider Lincoln and Mercury just as weak as Pontiac and Buick, if not weaker. [post="47887"][/post] I was at a mercury dealer recently pretty weak!
  13. Its true he does distort facts quite a bit and he is definately not interested in being objective.
