Silvester Why not go to the auction and buy an old Caprice cop car or something? For what you'd be paying for, yeah it'd be up there in mileage but I'm sure it wouldnt let you down, it would be GM, V8, and RWD so you could sleep with yourself at night, and its big/safe enough to haul around Sophia without having to worry about safety really.

Silvester.....SERIOUSLY..... You are the ONLY one who would think that anyone would be upset or disapointed with you for buying a *gasp* SECOND japanese car. For the love of god, dude, the Q45 isnt like a rice burner or anything, and it is V8 powered and RWD, so i mean.... whats the problem? Its clear that you LOVE the Q you have now, so if you can finance it and stuff, why not get a second one? haha buy it dude! I'd rather see you in that than a Cobalt (honestly.....not saying Cobalts arent cool, but I just like the Q as well) -Chris BTW you doing anything later today? my friend from Framingham might be coming up with his jeep and if his 4WD is working, i'm sure he's gonna wanna mess around, LOL

Silvester..... really dude, noones gonna kill you if you get FWD. LOL Might be sorta cool to see if you could get some stupid-strange Cobalt, something that noone else will have..... almost the equivalant of a 1LE camaro or whatever.... an SS without ANYTHING at all other than the drivetrain and appearance.... no a/c, no power anything, etc.

you say that joking around, but when we (oops....gave away one of the anon. people, LOL) were posting this, the other person said "How funny would it be if that guy has a Z06 or something and checks out Cheers-and-Gears and threatens to put an ice pick through our backs or something?" (something along those lines) Honestly it was just wicked goofy seeing this guy driving along, and we figured, hell, we got the camera, might as well take a goofy-ass picture! LOL

I'm not working, if you're talking about that junkyard up in NH, I'd love to tag along with you guys. I get home around 2:00 so if thats not too late for you, I can either meet up at your place or drum hill or something.....

jesus christ, I dont see what the big deal is about what 68 did! he took a picture of the motorcycle, and there HAPPENED to be a hot gal on the back of it :-) Seriously though... I know Silvester personally.... He's a little strange, but who isn't? He's not a (very) creepy person, so seriously if people are worried about him being like a pervert, dont worry....he's just a normal guy for chrissakes! LOL (However, I will NEVER forget the time you were riding shotgun in the Cobra down in Framingham and commented about that womans ass looking like it was "chewing bubble gum", that was PRICELESS!)

I spent most of the time in the staging lanes.... there was an 11 second bronco there, but thats the only one I SAW that is worth mentioning..... I think Silvester probably saw more of the racing though cause he got some good videos.

N.E.D. opened up today, and surprisingly the weather was beautiful...until about 3:00, LOL I got 7 runs in, as did Silvester (Pretty sure he got 7...) Track conditions sucked, everyone was sliding all over the place (myself included), but I managed a 14.097 @ 100.67 with a .654 r/t and a 2.174 60 foot time..... thats out of a 96 Cobra with 103,000 miles, a steeda shifter and Bassani x pipe with flowmasters...... not too bad, i dont think Silvester was....well....a few seconds slower, but we both had a great time up there. Went up with another friend who raced his 05 GT. I have a friend who did the whole "Exotic Dancer" thing for a while, and still does occasionally... strange? yeah....but she'd be strange even without being a "dancer"..... nice? friendly? someone who I'm proud to say is a friend (not for the ability to say "my friends a stripper!")? yeah.... They're not all bad people....some probably are, and some are definatly weird, but not all of them are bad people...haah

Just wanted to give a quick intro... my name's Chris, i'm 18 years old and live in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. My friend Silvester (Sixty8Panther?) told me about this site, and even though I no longer wear a bowtie (well....arrow head?), I'm still a fan of the GM muscle cars and ALL American cars... I drive a 96 Cobra, but I'm trying to sell it. (I'll have to fill ya in on that one, Silvester...) Once I get rid of the Cobra, I'm gonna see about getting a fox body Mustang (87-93). I prefer older cars for many reasons. I personally find them to be more comfortable, even if they arent as luxurious as newer cars, they're easier to work on (sooo much easier), and IMO less stuff to really go wrong. I also prefer the way you feel more connected to older cars, as opposed to newer cars (My cobra, for example) where I dont feel like I'm part of the car..... I had an 89 Firebird, and I could feel every single thing about the car and around the car, it was a great feeling. Unfortunatly, electrical problems with that car drove me insane and I parted it out. Meh. I'm going to school this summer to the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima, OH, for High Performance Motorsports Technology. Thats my intro, seems like a nice bunch of people here oh, and I enjoy cigars too... :AH-HA_wink: and heres a little animation of my first car, a 97 Cadillac Catera..... took it to the track twice actually, i've got the timeslips around here somewhere....best run was like a 16.3? something stupid like that :-P

Wow, that SUCKS Silvester..... Probably wont be able to stop by your place tonight or tomorrow but wednesday what are you up to? and Saturday, the track opens....you gonna be going up there? (I'll be going, so if ya wanna tag along, lemme know!)
