  1. First, I don't.. I repeat.. DON'T want you guys saying the Camaro isn't coming. Haters, leave or don't comment. Now let's start some speculation! What do you expect to see at NAIAS, if, indeed, a Camaro concept is shown. Remember, it will be a CONCEPT, not a complete production model. Oh, and if you disagree with someone, that's okay. This is only personal speculation/hopes. My Speculation: Design: Front end will have one of two designs. One, quad headlights with a lower grille like the 4th Gen. Two, something like Horton's. Rear design will definitely have LEDs and the taillights will either be quad round ones or a panel like the 3rd Gens. Hopefully the license plate is between the taillights, but will probably be in the bumper. Body will probably have the '69 speed lines or whatever coming from the wheel wells. I'm expecting a body like Chris Pauwel's concept. Powertrain: Probably the 6.0L pushing 400ish HP and similar torque. 6 speed manual. RWD (but I have a feeling they may show a AWD model). Presentation: Red, of course. Z/28 (with the slash) I'm guessing. Chrome 5 spoke rims (18/19" front/rear). Will be a great display.
  2. I think I'm closer to Auburn Hills where I am now.. 23 and Gratiot.
  3. 'Cuz I'm from New Yawwkk.. I mean.. Flinttownnn Sorry. Had to subscribe to a session of "gangsta," dawgs.
  4. It's just a bad area. I've heard it described as "like Detroit" but I doubt it's THAT bad. Maybe, but I don't know. From current students there that I've messaged, though, they say that the campus and area around the campus in which they own is very safe.
  5. Yeah, unfortunately, it is in Flint... And what's Kevlar? EDIT: haha nevermind
  6. Well, I more or less have my college picked out. I sent in an application a couple months back and was accepted within the next few weeks. Then a few weeks ago they sent me a $7500 scholarship per year for 4 years. Not bad considering it costs about $14,600 yearly.. so I more or less cut that in half. Anyway, it's called Kettering University, but is formerly known as GMI (General Motors Institute) Engineering and Management Institute. It's supposed to be a really good engineering school. My counselor got all wide-eyed when I told her I was accepted.. let alone getting a scholarship. She said that they're highly selective, but whatever. Anyways, here's why I'm pumped. Their program (I'm going to botch this, I'm sure) consists of going to school in three month increments. Between each increment, students work in a co-op job for both credit and cash (and these co-op programs are at good places... GM, Ford, DCX, Honda, Goodyear, OnStar, Harley-Davidson, etc). This sets them up perfectly for their job, already putting them into a job and giving them tasks that the "pros" handle everyday. I read somewhere that, by the end of the four years, one may make up to $70,000 annually RIGHT OUT OF COLLEGE, DOING WHAT THEY LOVE from this place. So I'm excited as hell. I cannot wait. I'm following the footsteps of many great GM engineers and hopefully I'll be able to do the same, heading a company or modelling some wicked automobiles.
  7. Well, if Northie doesn't, I'll close this when you post your chop. But by the fifth, he means the fifth at 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds. Precisely. Uhh, right? lol
  8. Nah, no drugs. Just pretty happy. It's been a great night. And I'm up pretty late considering I have to be up by 7:30ish to check out a college and it's gonna be a longggg day.
  9. You forgot to describe the lake as beautiful. Oh wait. Nevermind. Congrats, Josh! Can't wait to take another drive in one! :P
  10. But, but.. Cort! You guys got a redesigned model this year! :P Sorry, dude..
  11. This doesn't excite me. I've been confident all along. :)
  12. This calls for a GREAT Skunkworks project for someone with money... Buy one of these with everything except the body (the frame, drivetrain, engine), and throw on a sleek, sporty body and smaller tires. That would be sweet!
  13. haha empowah
  14. VW Beetle. Oh wait. Nevermind. :P
  15. No, TJ, I've got you beat.. I work at a Pet store. On the one rack are many "Beware of Dog" signs. Out of about 15 signs, I'd say 11 are "Beware of Dog" ones. Guy: Hey. I see these signs, *pointing directly at the one he soon finds out he's going to buy* but where are the "Beware of Dog" signs at? Me: You're pointing at them. Guy: Buutt... Oh! Okay. Didn't see them there. I couldn't help but laugh.
  16. Ouchhh is that ever gorgeous in performance/looks.
  17. Suburban bayyyybee!
  18. lmao this is HILARIOUS!
  19. Definitely, but Jet's is up there too. There is one LC's around here that's pretty good though. That's the only good LC I've ever had..
  20. What's your fave pizza? Definitely going w/ extra sauce, extra cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, ham, bacon, onion, green pepper. :) Good stuff.
  21. Yep. They're right about that chocolate thing. It doesn't affect acne a bit. But I disagree w/ the sun part. I find that during the summer, particularly after being in the sun a lot, I don't get many pimples, if any. And it's not because they blend in because they get white heads. They'd stick out more.
  22. Dude. I'm with you on ALL that. Only thing is that I hate tomatoes straight up, though I can eat 'em in a salad or on a sandwich or something.
  23. Well I was once standing in auto class with my hood up working on my car (and most of you know it's a 3.8L V6 3800 Series III haha) Kid: What size engine is that? Me: It kind of says right there: 3800 Series, which is a 3.8 Kid: Yeah dude they have these in the Z06s. They're sweet. Me: Nope, I have a 6 cylinder *points* 1, 2, 3... 4, 5, 6. Kid: Well you should put a Z06 intake on it Me: Good idea.. if I had an 8 Kid: Well I'm sure a Z06 cam would fit in it though. That would make it FLY! I walked away.
  24. Good lord, bv, there you go again *snickers* Ummm, mushrooms that you find on pizza and in spaghetti lol
  25. One more I forgot.. Cantaloupe.
