I always take a month off in the summer in July or August. We are spending a week in Lake Tahoe and a week in San Diego. We are driving across country either in the Pontiac Custom-S or the Chevy Equinox, because we want to see the country, not just fly over it. My niece was getting married in Scotland in August, but because of a church availability issue it has been moved back to September, works for me. I will check hotel availability in Reno in the next couple of days, I'm leaving for a work trip tomorrow so it will have to wait until I get settled in there. I'm not sure about internet access where I am going, but whatever, I won't be gone forever. :AH-HA_wink:

The current Saturn Vue is based on the Opel Antara, which is on the Theta platform. It certainly is not on the Theta Premium platform, which is reserved for the Cadillac BRX and Saab 9-4X.

GM was throwing good money after bad. Do you know where GM got that 10 billion or so to start up Saturn? That's right, from the other divisions. Buy doing that in the early 90's it stunted every platform upgrade by 5 years in every other division. Which I still claim is what killed Oldsmobile off, if Olds could have upgraded their products 5 years earlier it would still be around today. Saturn's creation by Roger Smith is what killed Oldsmobile.
