  1. Do you guys think the Toronado has to be FWD?
  2. I'll probably use the Camaro then. I'm trying base the concepts on current gm platforms. Dash-to-axle length isn't any easy thing to modify and still keep the variants financially feasible.
  3. Thanks for posting those pics Drew. Should help me out quite a bit... BTW would the Toronado be akin to the CTS Coupe in size? What do you guys think?
  4. No but something is telling me I should do a Toronado.....not sure what it is.
  5. Part of the challenge associated with rebooting Olds, design wise, is trying to avoid having the cars reassemble Pontiacs. Especially if you'd like to incorporate a split grille design. My next concept may not feature a split grille. I will do some research on grilles Olds used in the past that do not feature a split design.
  6. I was definitely inspired by Dodge's current headlamp design.
  7. @Drew: There is a bit of a concave lip around the edge of the grey areas. However the overall shape is convex. @black-knight: This car would be based on the Alpha platform currently used by the ATS. It is my intent to create a larger flagship car north of this one.
  8. Happy to be back. Great to have the creative juices flowing again...
  9. This will be the first in a new Oldsmobile Revival series. I encourage the other designers to create their own take on what new Oldsmobiles would look like now if the brand had now been cancelled. Think about what Olds could have been if the brand had the benefit of all of the great new GM platforms offered now.
  10. Looks great! I love the attention to detail. The proportions and stance of the car are exactly as a car of this nature should be....
  11. Nice sketch. Good line quality and a good job creating emphasis near the rear wheels. All the highlights/hotspots you placed on the rear hatch should be arranged in a straight line in referrence to the angle of your light source. If you arrange them properly your sketch willseem much more realistic looking.
  12. I guess we'll see when the car comes out if it's accurate or not. :AH-HA_wink:
