  1. The more I think about this, the less likely it seems.
  2. The T-bird and LS are both great candidates, they still draw my attention in traffic.
  3. That's no problem, the poll will take it down to ten.
  4. Things like the G8 line, the Hummer HX, the Cadillac Converj, Kappa...
  5. I could be. But I'd tighten the rules so that it is only things that have been shown to have viability. Not a bunch of dream stuff. Things that can be done with relative ease and speed - like this list.
  6. Cool. I see the two as companions, a pair of lists that amount to missed opportunities. I would give the parameters of the second list as products from dead brands, concepts that haven't been productionized, and technologies that haven't been utilized. Stuff that is in the toolbox but not yet used.
  7. What do you say to a companion list to this one, that might cover some other bases?
  8. Hasn't that already been done? And, since it's still in production, does it even qualify as something coming back?
  9. OK. But existing platforms currently in production would also qualify as low hanging fruit in my book.
  10. Understood. However, the biggest holes in GM's lineup are associated with dead brands so that's kind of limiting.
  11. Well, if there is no exception to the dead brand rule, then the HHR would get my vote. Not as interesting, but a valid case can be made for it.
  12. Holden is the RWD Commodore - everything else is just standard issue GM. Also, this is Holden's entire export volume as well as the best selling car in Australia. The supreme idiocy of going FWD should be obvious to even the most dense of GM bean counters.
  13. Relax, it's a poll nothing more.
  14. Thank you for this, Vipes. It is always nice to see that someone has understood not only the content, but the purpose behind it.
  15. I respectfully disagree.
  16. Thumbs up? Or thumbs down?
  17. I guess that's enough discussion, maybe it's time for a poll.
  18. That could be entertaining. ...but I'd prefer to simply do away with the system.
  19. You're still not getting it. But no matter, your opinion is duly noted. And I stand in opposition to it.
  20. My first car was a Coronet, and I've always had a soft spot for Mopars. Seems you have the same car disease that I do. By 22, I had already had at least a dozen cars.
  21. That would be a terrible crime.
  22. Don't be such a fool, Croc. This isn't some whinefest - it is simply something I feel strongly about. Your own participation in this thread indicates that you give the issue some merit as well. It certainly isn't about me and whatever ratings I may get. It's about the inhospitable environment this system helps to create and its detrimental effect on C&G. We've all seen members savaged by this, just for expressing an opinion. Discouraging people from posting their thoughts is the polar opposite of this site's purpose.
  23. Doing this would destroy Holden.
  24. Keep the comparisons coming, your comments have already surprised me several times.
