  1. I'll take yours, Olds.

Again, once GM can actually compete in this market will any of your comments carry more than a grain of salt.

The CTS-V and Solstice are more my style.... that's why I'd trade an LS for them.

I'd trade a 70k DTS for them too.

The only cars in this class that interest me are the XJ for it's exterior and the Pheaton for it's interior.

  2. I suppose if someone gave me this car I'd drive it

If someone gave me this, I'd trade it in on a CTS-V and Pontiac Solstice.... and only have to pay the tax.

  3. You're joking, right?

It is completely full of sarcasm, stereotypes, and half-truths.

    .... ok?

but that doesn't mean he was wrong.

it is perfectly feasible... and likely... that the scenario he described will play out many times in relation to this car.

my only issue is the loaded jetta..... she would have bought a loaded 4-cylinder automatic jetta... not the VR6..... because it's thrifty

  4. Yeah... as I said, I never had a problem with IE until yesterday, so I dont see what's so great about Firefox so far... other than I can check my email and view myspace now, unlike yesterday.

what is so great is that Firefox is substantially less vunerable to browser hijacking, viruses, etc.

  5. GM, you have the capacity. Build all of the models of this transmission and sell them to the other companys. People can and do knock you for many things, but building quality, reliable, smooth transmissions is the one thing you to better than anyone else.

  6. I think this is the sound of the bubble popping.

People are less willing to live 2 hours from work and pay almost as much as their mortgage in fuel costs <single adult in a Suburban ya know> just to have a postage stamp sized yard.

  7. I have to laugh at people slagging the Aspen..Chrysler is the the only one sharing an SUV platform across brands...  look at the Equinox/Torrent, Trailblazer/Envoy/umpteen other siblings  and the Tahoe/Yukon, to name a few...

    Rainier > Aspen

    9-7x > Aspen

    Bravada > Aspen

    mostly because

    Trailblazer > Durango
