  1. come come now. I know you like RWD, but the W-body wasn't that bad. The Cutlass was fairly popular. The Grand Prix did have some performance cred. The Intrigue was one of the best of the large mid-sized cars of it's era. And you have Grandpa's Regal when you pry it from his cold dead hands. We're not talking J-body here....
  2. Look what he's been sneaking out at night to drive!!!
  3. Eh, I wouldn't go around cheering this. The same thing would happen in a Tahoe 2-mode.
  4. only not all that acurate
  5. I think the HF would throw the balance out of wack. It's a fairly heavy engine. Put the Saab BioPower 300hp 4cylinder in it instead.
  6. I'll just buy older cars, avoid car payments to GM <smooth move exlax> and spend the money on fuel instead. There will be plenty of used CTS-Vs, GTOs, Lincoln LSes out there when the dumb asses who just have to have the newest thing trade them in as gas approaches $10. Their resale value will tank and people like Camino and I.... who used to buy new GMs, only buy used.
  7. Here's the future of GM if CPF/PCS get their way:
  8. Mini-Cooper? Astra.... if they brought the better engines over HHR SS EIEIO
  9. enjoy it... you'll be paying interest to China on it for the next 30 years
  10. Diesel has more energy per gallon than gasoline or ethanol. Diesel can be made from bio matter. Diesel takes substantially less energy to refine than gasoline. diesel FTW.
  11. uh, weren't the Cadillac and Buick RWD sedans supposed to be built at LGR anyway?
  12. depends how much other crap they've financed themselves into...
  13. eh, FOG, I think it looks like the Malibu more than any of the Asians.

  18. Probably similar to the Tundra where ESP doesn't work in 4wd mode.

OMG, I think a neighbor had one of those when I was growing up.
  22. Does anyone know where they are or where I can find an exploded diagram of the engine? There are a total of 3. Dad found the one under the catalytic converter, but can't seem to find the other two. I'm in Pittsburgh and they're in Miami, so I can't exactly go out and look myself. thanks in advance
  23. they'll be showing the next generation concept at that point
  24. It's coming!!!
  25. I know the Riv is old news at this point, but it is certainly no slouch on style.... and would make an excellent platform sharing mate with the CTS Coupe. GM producing both of them would make some decisions very hard.... The Riv and CTS could be GM's His and Hers coupes...... but all the more reason to change the name of the CTS to Eldorado.
