  1. The problem I see in a post that has absolutely no punctuation or grammar skill is that it appears to lack any kind of maturity to it. More often than not I find those type of posts displaying little more than the rants of an annoyed or excited person. They're about as entertaining and informative as listening to a pink-clad 14 year old trying to tell the story of the hot guy she bumped into on the street: like omg he was so hot like i cant believe i was in the same space that very moment like i wish he would have asked me for my number i would have like written it to him on my shirt and like given it to him right there Damn, I'm so naturally used to grammar skills and punctuation I had to actually work hard and making every error possible in the above statement. I literally had to delete commas and capitalized letters. At the same time, my friend, a rather intellectual individual, is currently enrolled in med-school. He is extremely book smart in all matters of mathematics, physics, and chemistry; however, he wouldn't manage to write up a note for a to-do or grocery list if his life depended upon it. His writing is complete shite, forcing everybody to avoid having to communicate with him with notes or messages. His text messages are so incoherent and useless that I end up phoning him to ask just what the hell he meant. So there are very intelligent people out there that simply cannot be taken seriously when they can't do the one thing in simple communications that's likened to tying up a shoelace.
  2. Based on a post I read at "another" forum, wpbharry isn't exactly interested in returning, should this have the the "other" forum he was referring to.
  3. I'm going to check into that tomorrow afternoon.
  4. LOL well sure. I think I could get away with that. Not sure what goes on when trying to change registration in the States...I gather there's likely to be a tax on your end. Never thought about how that worked.
  5. Our retail for Federated Co-operatives Ltd. (Pioneer Co-op) in Swift Current, Saskatchewan is donating the Grand Prize for a fund raiser to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of operating. To celebrate those 30 years, we're giving away a car that was built the very year this business first started. We just rolled it in when we closed up for the night. I just thought it would be nice for you good folks to get a look at it before anyone else does. The car is a... ...and get... ...your... ...drooling... ...towel... ...ready. ... 1975 Corvette Stingray ...and if you're over 18 in Canada, you can buy one of two-thousand tickets for $10 ... or three for $20 (if nothing has changed since I last checked the lottery license) All original with some new paint. It's been appraised at $19,000 CDN - the interior controls have been well used (what you would expect for 30 years old), the seats and carpeting are perfect...but I forget what the mileage is...still, damn...nobody cares considering how gorgeous this thing is. Just thought I would share.
  6. ...that when you try to figure out what you're looking at, you get a rather shocking and detailed instant horror flick. If you don't know what I'm talking about, take a look at his avatar. If you still don't know what I'm talking about, just watch it a little longer. http://pong.server2vh.com/~cheers/forums/i...owtopic=143&hl= It's so horrific, it made me laugh.
  7. I can't imagine how bad the driver must have felt. I don't even want to think about what the owner felt. Now that I offer my condolences, I laugh. I laugh my skinny arse off.
  8. Ironically, today I thought about buying one soon. I accepted a promotion to a new operation that's a 30 minute walk south from home. I thought about it for a moment before realizing that it'll only take me 10 minutes on my mountain bike, so I decided against it; however, it sure would be handy since hardly ever drive the car.
  9. We need Camaro's yesterday or GM is DOOOMED! Hey, I just did a Photochop of a car nobody would ever build. WTH doesn't GM do everything I know is right? Nobody will buy this car because it's not RWD or has 500 HP. I don't want your thoughts, I just want you to read MINE MINE MINE!!!
  10. I find it odd that they mention a 'powerful' engine. The same engine in our Optra5 (2.0 Litre D-TEC) produces 119 HP by Chevrolet's numbers. Now the Suzuki has one more HP than last, and it's suddenly powerful? Um... I don't think so. Heck, the automatic transmission is really a main reason the punch doesn't seem to exist. The gear ratios aren't tailored for any sort of aggressive nature; therefore, any gain from the engine is rather negligible.
