  1. Well, yeah... they have to do that. It's mandatory.
  2. I think they're counting on most people plugging in their cars uring off-peak hours... at night.
  3. Did they throw away the blueprints? They should just bring the thing back if for no other reason than to shut up the media and treehuggers. It's not like the EV1 would be obsolete... no one else has built one.
  4. You really think he'll say anything? Of course he won't....
  5. I love those people... Now's a great time to buy their full size SUV that they're dumping out of panic.

    Invicta name out

Buick 6000SUX. They could even throw in a Blaupunkt!
  7. One thing about the SRX, boy is it a screamin' deal used. Low miles, V8, Magneride, Ultraview, everything for under $30K. Astounding car for that price... if I were in the market for a utility vehicle there's no doubt that would be the one.
  8. Please Bob... DO NOT integrate the stereo. Those whose actually want a good sound system do not want to be stuck with inferior Toyota (and others) integrated garbage. Simply make the colors match. Leave choice to those who desire it. The piano black console is an excellent suggestion... it ties the Aura and Sky model lines together. IMO, the stock wheels are fine, but offer wheel and tire upgrades on all versions. Again, give customers a choice.... there is no easier way to improve handling performance than a simple tire swap. Last... 6-speed automatics across the board.
  9. Is she aware the GMC-Buick-Pontiac have been combined into a single sales channel? Apparently not.... There's no point whatsoever in getting rid of them as they will effectively become one brand with focused nameplates instead of multiple full lines.
  10. And union leaders don't do the same? Don't be so naive.Unions have been incredibly corrupt, not to mention linked often to organized crime. And their leaders will sell out the membership in a heatbeat if it suits their purposes. Bottom line is Delphi is losing billions. Miller is doing his job.
  11. That is exactly why Delphi hired him... to save the company, not bow to pressure from corrupt unions or weakling GM management.

  13. GM's largest supplier's costs are greatly reduced and the UAW is out.It also sends a very strong message for 2007.
  14. I not only think that GM is not only not a doormat in all this, but a very willing partner in wishing Delphi to throw the union out. The talk about wanting an agreement... lip service, since they can't play similar hardball with the unions for another year and a half.
  15. A whole lot of people that live near Delphi plants will be thinking the same. Like I said, the line'll be a mile long...
