  1. Maybe it's 'Brog Ham'. Green Eggs and Brog Ham. 'I'll have brog ham and eggs please.....overeasy if you will'
  2. Usually there is something that just wows us all.....it all seems unexciting, predictable. Could be that we see so many of these here in advance and the novelty wears off...I'll admit that. But something is slightly blah about this coming years offerings. Hope there are some surprises. Cause I just nodded off.
  3. An elite, exclusive club. Never saw that on C&G before. Interesting concept.
  4. After seeing this update of the Vue, good taste is returning to GM...it's been absent on many models for sometime.
  5. The new front end on the Vue is a huge improvement. Previously it smacked of Oldsmobile wannabe. It now looks more upscale. This is a lot of style for the money both inside and out. I've seen it in black, cream leather and chrome package...simply wow. It looks like it cost thousands more.
  6. Is it just me?....most of the cars to be shown at the upcoming shows are all so vanilla boring. Maybe I'm just in a cranky mood. http://www.autoweek.com/files/specials/200...roit/index.html
  7. I love the interiors too:
  8. Another thing, if you have a grey interior, I'd go with a dark reddish toned wood or very light colored wood and not the one above...it's too orange toned. It would look better in the tan interior.
  9. Exactly.
  10. Brougham: pronounced, 'Brome'
  11. Welcome Frank. Here's pic of a nice Olds Ciera with very good looking wheels. I owned one like this in this color...it was a very good car. I liked it alot. Never let me down, ever.
  12. Canadian Driver December 23, 2005 Mismatched couple win 2006 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx Montreal, Quebec – Six foot six inch (198 cm) Justin Boudrias and four foot four inch (131.5 cm) Jung Song of Montreal received the keys to a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx after winning the ‘Malibu Maxx Long and Short of It Contest', which sought out the Canadian driving twosome with the greatest height differential. "When it comes to people who share a vehicle, a height differential shouldn't mean discomfort in the vehicle compartment," said Janice Dickey of GM Canada. "The Chevrolet Malibu Maxx is a car designed for those who are truly tall or small, and Mr. Boudrias and Ms. Song are a perfect example of just how accommodating this vehicle can be." The Chevrolet Malibu Maxx's available adjustable gas and brake pedals, tilting and telescopic steering wheel and sliding front and rear seats earned the vehicle the unusual distinction of being ranked as both a top-ten vehicle for short drivers and for tall drivers by Edmunds.com.
  13. The point is that Pontiac has been historically more popular than Chevy in Canada. That is why their lineup here is more extensive than the US. Canada loves Pontiacs. This car is just as legitimate as the Cobalt. One might say, in Canada, why bother with the Cobalt? I have seen the Pursuit on the street and it looks very good. I would love to see a GXP version.
  14. I always like the pure powerful look of this Camaro.....the simple wheels and hubs..and man could it back it up!
  15. A buzz is certainly out there for the Saturn Sky too. It's pre-selling like the Solstice.
  16. I almost forgot how sexy the previous generation Corvette's butt is.....orgasmic.
  17. I was in one recently and you are right, it's a bit bland, but nicely styled. The wood helps, but it's too much of it. Are there any metal kits? How about just using wood on the consol and the centre of the dash...carrying the eye up. You would have the warmth of the wood without overwhelming the interior.

  20. I like to see these types of cars in the context of their times. This was a very clean, elegant design. It reads as beautiful to me. I love it.
  21. I really like the rear of the DTS too. In the flesh, it's even better. I like that they are getting the tailights on Cadillacs real vertical and slim.
  22. AutoWeek | Published 12/28/05, 11:12 am et The much-anticipated, high-performance variant of the Pontiac Solstice roadster will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, packing turbo power as we predicted six months ago (News, July 11, 2005). A 2.0-liter, turbocharged direct-injected four-cylinder making 260 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque will power the Solstice GXP. Look for the boosted Pontiac in showrooms this summer as a 2007 model—at a $4,000 to $5,000 premium over the naturally aspirated Solstice.
  23. Corvette production interrupted due to wheel supply issue AutoWeek | Published 12/28/05, 3:25 pm et General Motors has sent a memo to dealers informing them that Corvette wheel supply has “experienced significant disruption” and production of certain models could be delayed as a result. GM says the wheel supply situation has caused it to make “several adjustments affecting wheel options, production volumes and production schedules.” Dealers will have to change Corvette orders based on wheel availability. Wheel company Amcast, which went into bankruptcy on Dec. 2, supplied the wheels. GM says wheel supply is still uncertain, and thus GM’s order fulfillment and distribution department is unable to follow the normal process of returning orders to dealers for necessary changes. Polished wheels will not be available from GM’s new supplier. GM is changing all orders scheduled to be built after Jan. 3 from polished wheels to silver painted wheels. Further, the much-anticipated chrome wheel option will be postponed until “late spring production.” GM says any substitution of a lower cost wheel will be reflected in a reduced MSRP and invoice. Additionally, overall wheel availability may delay production dates of orders already in the system. GM says the impact on Z06 production is still undetermined.
