  1. Beetle, Ringo Starr....Starfire....it's lame I know. Ford Windstar
  2. I'd never heard of this model before until today, stumbled upon it. It has to be extremely rare.
  3. It's a 1970....and if you click on here, it will come up: http://www.petersen.org/default.cfm?docid=1046
  4. Looks like an Aston Martin with a split grill. Pontiac should sue.
  5. Yes, but what about this Pontiac?
  6. He did artwork for other makes but for a period of time was contracted exclusively to GM. To me he will always be mainly known for his incredible work for Pontiac.
  7. I agree. We are, because they made it happen.
  8. There's another one Mr. Fitzpatrick did of a Tempest, and it shows wind blown steams of raindrops on the hood....amazing. I'll try to find....maybe you have it Mr.B.
  9. Cletus!....you blow up real good! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY to our American friends...
  10. Another good source of his artwork......I like the title, 'Pontiacs as Art' What a fantastic site this is for automotive literature, Automotive Chronicles http://www.automotivechronicles.com/articles/2003/dec/03.php
  11. http://www.flickr.com/photos/leifpeng/sets/1519592/
  12. I just got a bit of an answer here.... http://todaysinspiration.blogspot.com/2007...er-stretch.html
  13. Man, I'd like to find out the techniques he and other's used for their work. I'm a bit of an amateur auto artist wannabe myself.
  14. Never thought of that....and you explained it well. That is what has happened.
  15. His illustrations made life seem so sophisticated and cool.
  16. I can't officially wish Happy Birthday, because it's still July 3rd here. You American members, tell us some interesting things about how you and your area celebrates and maybe some little historical thing about July 4th.
  17. I second that.
  18. Art Fitzpatrick is one of my favorite automotive artists. He was such a big part of Pontiac's success and their wide-track ad campaign from '59-'71. http://www.fitz-art.com/ http://www.fitz-art.com/gallery.htm http://www.petersen.org/default.cfm?docid=1046 http://www.motortrend.com/classic/features...rick/index.html http://www.motortrend.com/classic/features...rick/index.html
  19. Stylistically it's getting dangerously close to the big Lexus.
  20. Couldn't believe my eyes, saw a Suzuki Cappuccino in a mall parking lot today, never seen one before.
  21. You guys are getting me sidetracked with Linda's bosom and it's really not like me to cleave to it. When you look at that photo, doesn't it sort of look like she's Helen of Troy or some Greek queen/goddess in a chariot?
  22. Notice that her perky breast area sort of matches the perky points on the from of the GP?
  23. Yes, the leftist environmentalists, I believe, want us driving horse and buggies. Could it be they are an elitist bunch, champagne socialists if you will, that know whats best for us, but the same doesn't apply to them. It's like the Babs Streisands of the world mouth off and yet have several homes and all nicely lit up...consuming huge amounts of energy. Don't even get me going.
  24. Wasn't it back in the 80s that Ford was going through a painful time and somehow pulled themselves out of it....mainly through product I believe. Is it even possible for a company like GM to go bankrupt?.....It's not some little mom & pop business.
  25. Does anyone actually think that the majority of North Americans are going to rush out and buy electric cars?! It's not going to happen. Canada is a major source of oil and natural gas for America. We are your friends. The automobile has been made the great satan by leftist environmentalists and the Nadars of the world. It's all so tiresome. They won't rest until even humans are eliminated from the planet.
