  1. I know we are all going to see some incredible stuff in July. Fire up those cameras and take photos of those cars and trucks you see.
  2. The thing about Citroen is that they do weird so well. It's so good that they go their own way and don't follow the bland herd.
  3. Pontiac needs another Bunky Knudsen. http://www.pontiacserver.com/mtchiefs1.html
  4. Damn I wish car racing was like that today....raw, real, elemental. I wouldn't miss a race.
  5. and the 'dead' headlights......I wish model makers would come up with headlights that have a sparkle in them....so they don't look like blinded, cloudy eyes..
  6. 5-spoked wheels have become so generic and if I were buying this, off they'd come, and aftermarkets on, something closer to the spirit of the original.......but not to focus on wheels too much, this is a very nice car and glad it exists. With the troubles over at Chryco, it's amazing it's here.
  7. SO MUCH BETTER!!!..... For me the 5-spoke is so overdone, it's on everything these days....really like the Foose treatment.
  8. I luv that GMC.... He should be given a citation for painting the 'dagmars' black. Sure like utility vehicles like this with the white trim....so much better then the horrible black plastic used now. Have you seen a Chevy/GMC van lately.....just ghastly.
  9. Ya, Rallye wheel is the proper name for them....they were so Challenger to me.
  10. I like everything except that they didn't make it a true hardtop and too many variations on the 5-spoke wheel design....wish they'd done a something to evoke the slotted look of the original.
  11. 'A gash that never heals!!!......too funnnnnny.
  12. Trust me, they all wanted to but don't allow themselves to. You do. And I'm glad. My dad was as macho and a man's man as you can get and yet he was a weeper, he'd tear up at the slightest emotional thing. I like that. That's a real man.
  13. Not bad Mr. V.....I'm hoping that the new ones have a dark background too. It was great they looked for feedback from the people.
  14. What's a 'pussy'?
  15. Here's a little history of Alberta licence plates. We are finally getting newly designed ones in early 2009 after many years. I heard the new ones may have mountains in the background and the slogan, 'Strong & Free'. 'Wildrose Country' I hope will hit the Alberta dust. http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/world/CN_ALBE.html
  16. You may call it being sentimental, I call it a part of life that is very real, the softer, the more caring, the more loving, the more dreaming....it balances out the cares of life....and it's perfectly good. So everyone, get sentimental sometime.
  17. You know sentimentality is so refreshing in these cynical times we live in.
  18. GM is doing such nicer interiors.....this interior is light years ahead of what it was before....very nice.
  19. Here's a hand car wash in LA:
  20. Alberta won't be getting front plates back, indicated by gov't people.....so we all beg you to take that black thing off. Are you sure there are holes?....often they are attached from underneath. That's the joy of living here, we don't have to have our car front ends mucked up.
  21. I liked the way they used the windmill blades in contrast to the helicopter blades, more gentle.
  22. Intriguing little video.....I liked it, thanks Blu.
  23. Facinating car carrier from Mercedes-Benz in the '50s. The Fast Transporter
  24. Oldsmobile Starfire (there's a connection here with Beetle, can you find it?)
